"Customs of the Three Gorges - Folk Culture Exhibition" displays the folk customs of the Three Gorges region. - Fourth Floor: "Memories of the Ancient City - Yichang Ancient City Exhibition" restores some of the landscapes of the ancient city of Yichang. Must-See Artifacts - Changyang Man Fossils: Located in the "Ancient Xiling" exhibition hall, the "Changyang Man" is recognized as an early Homo sapiens and is an important testament to human activity in the Yichang area during the Paleolithic period. - Sun Man Rock Carving: Also located in the "Ancient Xiling" exhibition hall, this carving was unearthed in 1998 at the Three Gorges Reservoir. The image of the Sun Man has 23 rays of sunlight carved on its head, and stars and the sea are carved on both sides of its waist, revealing the worship of religion and the sun by people in primitive society. - Spring and Autumn Period Lacquer Se: This ancient stringed instrument, often played with the Sheng (a reed pipe instrument), is located in the "Ba, Chu, and Yiling" exhibition hall and reflects the musical culture and craftsmanship of the time. - King Bei of Qin's Bell: This bell bears witness to the history of the relationship between the Qin and Chu states and is an important artifact for studying the political and cultural exchanges between ancient feudal states.
