Yingxian Wooden Pagoda Tour In the morning, the sun shone through the clouds and onto the earth. I was excited to start my journey to the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. After a while, I finally arrived at the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda Scenic Area. As soon as I got off the bus, I saw a towering wooden pagoda. The sight was breathtaking. The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, also known as the Sakyamuni Pagoda of Fogong Temple, was built in 1056 and is the world's tallest and oldest wooden pagoda. It was built entirely of wood, without a single nail. The mortise and tenon structure and the bracket sets are connected to each other, achieving a wonderful balance between rigidity and flexibility, creating this unique architectural wonder. Entering the scenic area, I could see the pagoda up close and feel its majesty and solemnity. Looking up at the pagoda, I couldn't help but admire the superb craftsmanship of the ancient craftsmen. Each floor of the pagoda has exquisite Buddha statues and murals. Although only one floor is open to the public, it is enough to make people feel its solemnity. The Buddha statue on the first floor is 11 meters high and very spectacular. The small figures supporting it below are lifelike, and there is even a proud little dragon, which adds a bit of fun. There are many birds flying around the pagoda, as if they are also the guardians of the wooden pagoda. Over the centuries, this wooden pagoda has witnessed countless historical changes, dynastic changes, and the passage of time, but it has always remained silent. I stood under the wooden pagoda for a long time, imagining the devout believers praying here, the monks practicing here, and the scholars studying here in the past. Now, I am fortunate to stand here and admire its style. Although the pagoda is severely tilted, it still stands proudly, embodying the unyielding character of the Chinese people. It is like an old man who has experienced vicissitudes of life, silently telling stories of the past. Time passed unknowingly. I left the scenic area with deep respect and reluctance for this wooden pagoda. The memory of the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda will always remain in my heart.
