Lashi Lake Wetland is picturesque

The Lashi Lake Wetland in Lijiang is a place of beautiful scenery, especially the beautiful springs. The beautiful spring originates from the intersection of Wohu Mountain and Beidou Mountain. The spring water gushing out from the rugged rocks forms the Sister Pool. The water is as green as flawless emerald and so clear that you can see the bottom of the pool which is more than 6 meters deep. The place is densely forested, with flourishing flowers and plants, and is quiet and beautiful. Standing on the shore of Lashi Lake, you will see a wide and quiet lake. Under the clear and cold sky, the lake surface is glowing with green light. Small patches of wetlands divide the lake into bays of varying sizes. A group of cormorants were resting on the sparse willow trees in the lake; in the shallow bay and on the shore, there was a large group of wild ducks, some diving in search of fish and shrimps, some sleeping with their necks intertwined. Occasionally, two ruddy shelducks, which live together, would flutter into flight, causing nearby waterfowl to lazily flap their wings. In the distance, there is mist and from time to time you can see small shadows of birds swimming and flying in the forest.
