Lijiang Wenhai Village A small village beneath the snow-capped mountains I went there at the end of February The cafe owner said it was the off-season But I felt so relaxed during the off-season! For those who have more time in Lijiang, I suggest spending half a day in Wenhai Village You won't be disappointed! - 📍Lijiang Wenhai Village 🚗Navigate to "Wenhai Village" ⚠️Electric scooters are not recommended! There are many potholes and winding mountain roads. The road conditions are not good, and I personally think riding an electric scooter is very dangerous! Taking a taxi is not very convenient, and you may not be able to get one (it's a bit remote, and even if you can get there, you may not be able to get back). ⚠️The road is bumpy. If you are prone to carsickness, remember to take motion sickness medicine in advance! - ⏰We departed from Lijiang Old Town around 12:30, and the whole journey took about 1 hour. After about 20 minutes, you will pass a temple—Fuguo Temple, where you can stop and visit (there is a restroom here🚻) (p16-p17). After leaving Fuguo Temple, the bumpy mountain road begins. Drivers, please be sure to maintain a safe speed and drive carefully! (p18) - Wenhai Village is surrounded by forests, with snow-capped mountains in the distance and a large blue lake in between. 📷Recommended photo spots 1️⃣About 5 minutes from the village, there is a bend with a coffee truck parked on it. Here you can see a panoramic view of Wenhai Village. (p2) 2️⃣First, take photos on the flat ground near the racecourse (you don't have to ride a horse). The light is just right at two or three o'clock in the afternoon. (p3-p5) 3️⃣Take a break at the cafe. I highly recommend "Wild Deer Tree House Cafe." It wasn't officially open when we went, and only the owner was there. He warmly welcomed us. The tables and chairs in the shop are tastefully chosen, and there are large floor-to-ceiling windows🪟. Outside the window are grasslands and lakes, and occasionally horsemen ride by. It's like a painting🖼️ (p6-p12). 4️⃣Close to sunset, it is recommended to drive to the other side of the lake, where there is a white house. With luck, you can see the sunset glow on the mountains🌄 (p13). 5️⃣Return before sunset. The road is also great for taking pictures!
