I ate a €3.50 Žabljak bakery pogača on the north shore, then hitched a €15 taxi to Sedlo Pass (1,907 m) and climbed Bobotov Kuk (2,523 m) — 14 km return, 6–8 hrs. The moss stops at 2,000 m; above is limestone scree and the exposed ridge where afternoon thunderstorms build by 14:00. Mistake: I tried Bobotov as a day-hike from Žabljak on foot — 6 hrs just to Sedlo and back, missed the summit light; taxi to Sedlo or sleep at Katun Ubal hut.
