A tour of Chengdu's salt history and a one-day trip to Zigong

Watching documentaries and visiting museums are good ways to expand your knowledge reserves. 📷Attractions 1️⃣Salt Industry History Museum Ticket: 35r 💙Salt Industry History Museum is the only salt industry science and technology history museum in China. It has a stunning appearance and is solemn and majestic. The scenery inside is also very good, and it is also nice to take pictures. The museum has illustrations of the entire salt-making process and various equipment models. It is highly recommended to start your salt history tour by visiting the Salt Industry History Museum. 2️⃣Shenhai Well Ticket: 25r 💜I personally think it is the Salt Industry History Museum Plus, which shows the process of "salt" refining more than 1,000 years ago more clearly, in detail, and more professionally. However, there are audio explanations at every location, and you can listen to them by scanning the QR code. There are four steps in making well salt: digging a well ➡️ drawing brine ➡️ transporting brine ➡️. The whole process of salt making is broken down and has relevant models. There are also cultural and creative ice creams available for purchase at the entrance~ 3️⃣Old Salt Field 1957 💛1.1km away from Shenhai Well, you can walk. The Old Salt Works 1957 is an architectural design that has a strong sense of fragmentation, which is quite suitable for 📸. When I first entered, I felt like the "Salt" version of Hechai 1972. There are currently only two exhibition halls and no cultural and creative stores are open. But there are still some things worth seeing on display. It is a window to understand the culture of lanterns. Zigong's lanterns are famous throughout the country. If you have enough time, you can go and learn about it. 🍜 Food 1️⃣ Ate Changsheng Noodles (the one on Hongqi Road) 💜 It is the kind of thin and soft noodles, and it has a slight medicinal flavor. It is delicious. The main thing is that it is just on the way, between Shenhai Well and Old Salt Field 1957, so you can just come out to eat after visiting. 2️⃣Eat rabbit cold How can you not eat rabbit when you are from Zigong! I was recommended by 🍠er to a cold-eaten rabbit restaurant in the Five Star Market. I packed half a pound and brought it back to share with my parents. It was super delicious (p6). The boss was very nice and we could try the food, but it is not recommended for those who cannot eat spicy food. Summary: It took about 8 hours to visit all the attractions above + high-speed rail and other travel time.
