Rawal Lake

#wecreate Rawal lake is a very nice place for family to visit. It is a huge park with different things to do including slides for kids, bird park which is strongly recommended as well as lake view. There are also other rides to ride but remember during the day it’s very hot. it is best to come during afternoon and enjoy sunset view. There are different stalls selling drinks and snacks so don’t worry about not enough water .

Unlike other bird parks or zoo, here you can actually get very close to the birds. The birds are very well taken care of, there are shades and water for bird. this is very suitable for family to visit . The ticket price is very affordable, 250pkr for adults and 100 for kids.

this is Fatima jinnah park islamabad, if you want to have a lot of fresh air with walking/jogging or just sitting in a green lawn, this is the right place for you. Spread over kilometers this is the biggest park of the capital that occupies a space equal to a whole residential sector. There are walking/jogging tracks, kids play area and it has four gates opening ot four different residential sectors of Islamabad. Come here if you have a lot of time to explore and enjoy its vastness and beauty.

Margalla Hills Hiking Trail #3

The most famous and old hiking trail of Islamabad. Trail 3. It starts from the Margalla road sector F-6. There is a paking lot with plenty of space at the trailhead or you can easily take Uber. The trail is a real workout but worth the views to be sure. There are two different paths, the fire trail and the regular route. The fire trail is difficult although fun and only takes maybe an hour and a half to Monal Restaurant at the top. The longer path is easier going and takes 2-3 hours to Monal. If you are not used to hiking or strenuous activity then I would advise against the fire trail, but if you are up for the challenge it is the best way. Bring water and snacks as it is hot and strenuous.
