I went to Laketown on the first day of Golden Week! The parking lots were all full! If you're going by car, it's definitely better to check before you go. You might have to wait a little. When I went to pray for the first time in a while, there was a beautiful cherry blossom tunnel. When I passed through the cherry blossom tunnel, a very healing space spread out. Koshigaya Katori Shrine is widely known as a shrine for fertility and safe childbirth because it enshrines the female Konohanasakuyahime. In addition, there are cute heart-shaped votive plaques, and it is also a power spot for matchmaking. If you go around to the back of the shrine grounds, you will find a large matchmaking tree. There are several types of fortune-telling slips and goshuin, so it is a very enjoyable shrine. This time, I received a goshuin that is only available in April. And Katori Shrine has many photo spots. They have various photo spots for spring, summer, autumn and winter. This time, the cherry blossom and strawberry motifs matched the blue sky, and I was able to take a cute photo. I found "Taro Yaki" from "Taro Yaki Honpo", a Koshigaya specialty, on the street in front of the station in Koshigaya, Saitama. "Daikichi Adjustment Pond Park" This park can be reached by bus from Kitakoshigaya Station. This adjustment pond was created when the flow of the Shinkata River and Sakai River was changed to prevent the Shinkata River from flowing into residential areas on the other side when the water level of the Shinkata River was high, and the Shinkata River was made to flow straight and the Sakai River was made to flow underground. There is a promenade around the pond, and stakes are driven into the ground so that you can see how many meters you have walked counterclockwise. This is the center of Koshigaya City, a place of relaxation for the citizens adjacent to the city hall, the "Kasai Waterfront Greenway" and "Fujidana Street" on the Moto-Arakawa River. The roads are well maintained and beautiful, making it a good place to take a walk or jog in the morning or evening. Flowers are planted for each season, delighting visitors. I got to see Crayon Shin-chan goods that I haven't seen much before and they were so cute! There were all kinds of products and places to take photos, so it was heaven for me as a Crayon Shin-chan fan lol There were all kinds of goods and things related to the movie. Lake Town was also so big that it was impossible to see everything in one day. The food court was big and it was easy to find a seat!

Access: Bus No. 4 from Koshigaya Station East Exit → Hanadaen Entrance Tourist Spot: Strolling Pond Garden, Autumn Leaves Admission Fee: 100 yen The garden is smaller than you might imagine. It takes about 20 minutes to go around the whole garden, but I was impressed by the spectacular view of the autumn leaves reflected on the water! These are the illuminations at the east exit of Koshigaya Station. They're not flashy, but I think it's pretty nice to see them on your way home. They're really small, but I feel so happy every time I see them that I tried taking photos. These kinds of things are nice too!

Shirakobato Bridge to Kasai Waterfront Greenway A greenway stretching approximately 1.3km from the Yanagibashi area in Yanagimachi, Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture to the Shirakobato Bridge area on the Koshigaya Yashio Line prefectural road. When I went, there were no flowers in bloom, but there were several kinds of birds. In flower season, you can see hydrangeas, irises, lotus flowers, and more. Shirakobato Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with different heights for the main towers on the left and right. They seem to represent the feeling of a collared pigeon, a natural monument, spreading its wings. It's a nice quiet river for a walk, but it's a bit narrow. #Saitama

Oosagami Adjustment Pond Laketown 2-chome, Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture 5 minutes walk from Koshigaya Laketown Station on the JR Musashino Line. The grassy area was a great place to spend time, with events and walks around the pond. We went in the evening, so the sunset was beautiful. #Saitama

Lake Town Lakeside Forest Park A park on the lakeside of Lake Town, 9-42, Lake Town, Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture. The park is on the opposite side from the Aeon side (on the northwest side of the Osagamo Regulating Pond Kitaike). There were some children fishing for crayfish. Former Toho Village Nakamura Family Residence Located at 51-9-51 Lake Town, Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture, this is the residence of the Nakamura family, who served as headmen of the Toho Village Shimogumi, which was formerly located in Toho Village, Hachijo Domain, Saitama County, Musashi Province (now Taisei Town, Koshigaya City). It is said to be the oldest house in Koshigaya City with a confirmed construction date, and is a tangible cultural property designated by Koshigaya City. In just one week, the sakura, which was about 70% bloomed last week, has now reached full bloom and has transitioned into a sakura snow. This is my favorite moment of spring—when the petals fall like soft snowflakes. 🌸❄️ The best part? It was so peaceful. There were even fewer people than when I visited the Arakawa riverbank last week. The area is surrounded by small paths with no cars, and it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing walk by the riverside, basking in the gentle spring sunlight. 🌞 The petals had fallen into the clear river, sparkling in the water as they were carried downstream. It felt as though spring itself was drifting away, carried by the flowing water with the petals. 🌸💧 Honestly, this year's cherry blossom season has lasted longer than usual, which was a treat. #cherryblossom25 Flowing through Gyoda City, this ancient river-turned-canal transforms each spring into one of Kanto’s longest sakura corridors, with 1,000+ trees lining its banks for 4 continuous kilometers. Unlike Tokyo’s crowded spots, here you’ll stroll beneath unbroken pink arches accompanied only by the whispers of history—this was once the main waterway of the Musashino Plain, traveled by samurai and merchants.

✨Hotel/Ryokan Points ♨️Facility Introduction: There is a parking lot behind the hotel, and you can park for 1,000 yen per night. However, there are only three spaces, so it is recommended to check in early. 🛁Room Introduction: There was one large table in the room, which was large enough to open one carry-on. Overall, it is a little small, but I think it is a sufficient hotel for one person. 🍽️Breakfast: Not used 🛎️Service: I forgot my C-type charger, so I went to the counter to get it and they lent it to me! There are many Chinese dishes on the menu, but the food is served quickly! Yomiuri Newspaper and sports newspapers are also available. I had the fried rice, which was consistently delicious. The toppings were char siu, egg, naruto, and green onion. The red pickled ginger was chopped, so it might be easy to mix. The onion water in the plastic bottle on the table is apparently drinkable.
