May Day Holiday | Wenzhou Lucheng City Walk Guide
I've stayed up late to compile several popular check-in spots in Lucheng.
Remember to save this post~
📍 Xunshan Park
This is the "lighthouse" of Wenzhou's ancient city. Three popular photo spots: "Zheng Gong at Xun Mountain," "Radiant Xunshan," and "Joy Among the Mountains." The nighttime light show connects with the South Commercial District, becoming a city window linking history and future.
📍 Wuma Street
A thousand-year-old commercial artery with a trendy rebirth as "Wenzhou's First Street."
Today, the "Coffee Street" and "Small Bar Cluster" add youthful vitality, making it an excellent starting point for your City Walk.
📍 Shamao River
Recommended foods 😋
Lantern Cake, Fish Ball Soup, Chang Ren Wonton, Grilled Cold Noodles, Almond Tofu, and more
📍 Wenzhou Light Energy Museum
Immersive exhibition halls tell the story of "Nine Mountains Surrounding the City" and Tang River culture. At night, it's adjacent to the Oujiang Road scenic belt, with mountain lights reflecting on the water surface across the river, creating stunning aesthetics where industrial style meets artistic charm.
📍 Shuangjing Lane
Urban renewal project! Features a vintage old society vibe! Perfect for leisurely strolls and photo opportunities! 📷 It really feels a bit like Gulangyu Island!
📍 Jiushan Park
The Luoxia Pond in the park sparkles with rippling waves. Once a diving team training base, it's now a popular spot for family camping.
📍 Jiangxin Island
The "Penglai of Oujiang," a thousand-year-old solitary island of poetry and Buddhism.
The 2023 CCTV Spring Festival Gala was filmed here. At night, the twin pagodas light up like stars, conversing with the city's neon lights across the river—a "perfect shot location" for photography enthusiasts.
📍 Oujiang Night Cruise
A glamorous harbor and fashionable party at the illuminated wharf. The 6.6 km riverside scenic belt connects Oujiang Light Wharf and Binjiang Mixc, where mountain lights dance with skyscrapers at night.
Ticket tip: Recommend choosing top-deck open-air seats for 360° unobstructed night views.
📍 Mochi Lane
A slow lifestyle deep in the courtyard. Hidden independent bookstores and handcraft studios make it a "spiritual sanctuary" for artistic youth.
📍 Tang River Night Painting
Wenzhou's nights are romantic scrolls illuminated by the Tang River. If you haven't experienced the Tang River Night Painting boat tour yet, you're really missing out! 🌟
