Manchester in one day 🇬🇧
#thingstodo
Manchester is one of the city located in the northern part of the UK. Last time I went to Manchester to explore around the city. The city is really convenient to go to anywhere with the tram as a transportation. I went to the
Etihad Stadium and the Old Trafford stadium. Those are really cool stadium in Manchester and as a football lover, going to these 2 places is my dream and I am glad that I made it!

I recently had the opportunity to visit the remarkable Greater Manchester Police Museum & Archives – an enthralling voyage into the history of enforcing the law! 🚓 Situated in the Northern Quarter, this museum is a hidden treasure trove for enthusiasts of crime and justice. #PoliceHistory #ManchesterMuseums The highlight of my visit was the vast array of objects on display, ranging from vintage attire to tools used to solve crimes. 🔍 The reconstructed police station from the Victorian era is like stepping into a time capsule, providing a glimpse into law enforcement during a long-gone epoch. 🕵️♂️ Once you're done exploring the museum, I highly recommend immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Northern Quarter, with its independent shops and cozy cafes. ☕️🛍️ This is an absolute must-see for anyone captivated by the evolution of policing and criminality in Manchester! 👮♂️🔐 #Manchester #uk #traveladdict

Canada House, Manchester 🗺️
#manchestertrip
Recently warmed by Canada House in Manchester; a little Canadian oasis right there in the city proper. Tucked away along Deansgate, its location is convenient and Canadian in hospitality. The best thing was the adorable interior--a mix of rustic and modern, making you feel at home. The poutine is standing out, with a taste of Canada in Manchester. 🍟 After eating some hearty comfort food, stroll down Deansgate where there's always something going on at night. Or meander to the John Rylands Library around the corner for a bit of culture instead. Whether you're a Canadian homesick or just curious, Canada House is an enchanting find. 👍 #Manchester #uk #traveladdict

John Rylands Research Institute and Library 🏢
#manchestertrip
All deep into history and knowledge at the John Rylands Research Institute & Library in Manchester – a literary paradise! This architecturally awe-inspiring place is just next to Spinningfields, like Hogwarts. The things that stood out most for me were the revelatory reading rooms, each brimming with manuscripts and rare books which immerse you in another era. Its both majestic and cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal place for book lovers looking to get away. After, walk over to nearby Cathedral Gardens or grab a coffee at one of the indie cafes around there. ☕️🌿 For anyone wishing to get a taste of Manchester's literary past, this is a must-visit spot! 👁️🗨️📖 #Manchester #traveladdict #uk

National Trust - Castlefield Viaduct 🛤️
#manchestertrip
I've just been to the Castlefield Viaduct in Manchester- a piece of history right in the middle of town. 🏰 The location, hidden away in Castlefield, is a real treasure. It's like peeking into Manchester's industrial past. The red-brick arched bridge of the viaduct is iconic, forming a lovely setting for walking along Bridgewater Canal. Guided tours expose its engineering wonders, a must for architecture fans. 🚶♂️ Next, head over to the nearby Wharf Pub for an ale by the canal – ideal capper to a walks through history! Highly recommended for a heritage combination with relaxation. You won’t regret visiting. 👍 #uk #Manchester #traveladdict
People's History Museum Manchester 🏛️
#manchestertrip
All I'm saying is that when you go to the People's History Museum in Manchester, just immerse yourself completely. It really is a gem! Set in the area of Spinningfields, it traces a course through the toil and effort put out by working people. The exhibits are intense and provoking, offering a new point of view about social change. The testament to the fight for women's rights was, of course, that section on suffragettes. #PHMMcr-#SocialJustice With their interactive displays, the past is given life and becomes a gift to all ages. Later, stroll the nearby Spinningfields neighborhood for fashionable restaurants and bars. Not to be missed by history buffs and anyone with a passion for people's stories! 👥🌟 #Manchester #uk #Traveladdict

A couple of weeks ago I was at The Whitworth in Manchester. It was fantastic to have a cultural day out! Serenity surrounds the gallery in Whitworth Park offering a peaceful atmosphere to visitors. For me, this was in the diverse art collections ranging from modern art pieces to ancient valuables. A sense of tranquility is produced by combining the contemporary architecture of the building and the greenness of the park. Just around the corner are other places where you can enjoy Curry Mile’s charms and visit Manchester Museum for even greater culture experience. Manchester Science Museum
The Science and Industry Museum is one of the few museums I remember well from childhood. It hasn’t massively changed in terms of the industrial elements on display (Victorian to 1900s) and that’s the beauty of this museum. Displayed across the street (currently under reconstruction) are the various planes and trains used across Manchester in history. Level 2 of the main building gives you the opportunity to engage with fun hands on experiences and experiments.
This museum is free to enter (donation of £5 is well received) and you can enjoy a few hours of science.

Manchester!
#freehotelstay
I recently travelled to Manchester for a long weekend and wanted to share my experience.
I flew into Manchester through the main international airport and used the train to get to the city centre and stayed near the main train station (Piccadilly). There are lots of different accommodation options, ranging from hotels and hostels to apartments which is very popular. There are lots of different attractions including shopping, visiting the football clubs or the many different museums. There are also a range of different eateries too.
The city has a very strong vibe with a worker bee 🐝 being seen in a lot of places - a link to the Industrial Revolution past which Mancunians are very proud of! #urbanexplorer#mytripvlog#Manchester

Sunday brunch at Federal Cafe, Manchester🇬🇧
Address - There are two branches of Federal Cafe Bar in Manchester as mentioned below. I have been to the Northern Quarter branch.
Northern Quarter:
Federal Cafe Bar
9 Nicholas Croft
Deansgate:
Federal Cafe Bar
194 Deansgate
Ambiance/Food - It is worth mentioning that they have the best egg dishes in Manchester and are quite famous for that.
There are some pros and cons as listed below. All of these are based on NQ branch only.
Pros:
- Food was delicious. I tried - french toast, egg benedict with avocados and halloumi, Turkish egg, iced latte
- Quick serve, don't need to wait for long for the food to arrive
- Very clean. Even during rush hours staff thoroughly clean the tables which is rare for some cafes
- Outdoor sitting options available
Cons:
- Long queues on weekends (though it's common for most, but this one is a bit longer cause the cafe is smaller)
- Sitting arrangement is a bit too clumsy for my liking. Not scattered enough, but again that's personal preference
- Tables are too small which makes it inconvenient to eat or drink.
Highlights - Egg benedict and French toast are must try. They are super delicious 🤌
Avg. Price per Person - £15 (GBP) per person
