This dreamy and less crowded spot is a perfect hidden gem for cherry blossom viewing! Getting to Matsudo Kawazu Cherry Blossoms is quite easy. Take the JR line to Matsudo Station, then walk towards Matsudo Shrine. It's just a five-minute walk, making it very convenient. It is usually open for three hours from 18:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays, but on this day it happened to be open from 10:30 to 16:30 on Thursdays. The newly renovated single-family house gives you a home feeling. It is fully equipped and has convenient transportation. It is a 10-minute walk from Beixiaojin Station. There are large supermarkets and convenience stores near the station. The house has 4 rooms, a dining and living room, two toilets, a bathroom, and a sun room. All curtains are light-blocking and heat-insulating, and the glass windows are triple-glazed to maximize the protection of quiet and comfortable living.

📍 Matsudo City Museum 671 Sendabori, Matsudo, Chiba 270-2252 Admission: 310 yen This museum has an exhibit that is sure to impress some people. It's a replica of the Tokiwadaira housing complex. This is a reproduction of the one from 1960. It's surprising that it suddenly appears at the back of the building, but the inside is also recreated to look like it did back then, and it's very elaborate. It feels like grandma's house. It's an era I don't know, but it felt nostalgic. In addition to this exhibit, there are many other exhibits that teach about the history of Matsudo (from the Paleolithic period to modern times, it's really wide-ranging), and I was very satisfied with the volume. #AbsolutelyFreeTrip

It is the only building that remains almost completely of the Tokugawa family residence from the Meiji period. He studied in Europe, and apparently enjoyed decorating it with European antiques at the time. The villa is divided into three areas: for guests, for living quarters, and for employees. It is said that you could see Mt. Fuji from the guest rooms at the time. 🗻 Matsudo is a city with many slopes, so I'm sure it was a wonderful place with a better view at the time. You can also enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn. When you enter the temple grounds through the Niomon Gate, you will find a five-story pagoda on top of a slope of hydrangeas. This is a popular photo spot where you can capture hydrangeas and the five-story pagoda. The flowers were wet after the rain, so I enjoyed the glossy hydrangeas.
