Wat Pho Prathap Chang is an old temple located on the banks of the Phichit River. It looks like it went through a war with Burma, so the temple was damaged and almost completely untouched, just like the temples in Ayutthaya.
However, the main Buddha image is still enshrined in the chapel and covered with a roof.

Wat Pho Prathap Chang
#summerdream This tourist attraction in Phichit is an ancient site that is more than 300 years old. It was built during the Ayutthaya period. What is very interesting is that it has remained in its original condition until today. It was not built over the original structure. Therefore, when visiting Wat Pho Prathap Chang, we will see an ancient temple that is considered to be still alive, not just an ancient site. In addition, in front of the temple, there is a large Takhian tree. It is said that it is more than 250 years old. It takes 7 people to wrap around it. When you get there, don't forget to take a selfie as a souvenir. I highly recommend Wat Pho Prathap Chang.
