🚗 Transportation Guide to Avoid Pitfalls
1⃣ Self-driving party: Navigate to "Jiuhuashan Tourist Service Center". Private cars are restricted during the May Day holiday. Self-driving parties can directly navigate to Jiuhuashan Tourist Service Center (parking fee is CNY 30/day), and then take the scenic shuttle bus (CNY 50 for a pass including 6 rides) to go up the mountain!
2⃣ High-speed rail party: After exiting Chizhou Station/Jiuhuashan Station, take the direct scenic bus (30–50 minutes direct, ticket price is CNY 50 including round trip).
3⃣ Mountain road warning: There are so many bends that you'll doubt your life, so those prone to motion sickness should prepare medicine in advance!

🌸Azalea flowering period: late April to early May, the cloud brocade azaleas are pink and white like rosy clouds, and the monkey head azaleas look like monkey heads!
🚶♀Hiking party: Tiantai Temple → Good Man Slope → Huatai Plank Road (1.5 hours, along the way there is a sea of flowers in the "Azalea Dock")
-
Day 3⃣: Dayuan Cultural Park + Stargazing Camping
🌀99m Dizang Holy Statue (free visit, take a sightseeing bus directly to the feet of the Buddha) → Minyuan Bamboo Sea (oxygen absorption and lung washing, encounter with small squirrels) → Phoenix Pine (millennial ancient pine check-in)
🌌Stargazing Guide: Stay overnight in a B&B in the Tiantai Scenic Area, and the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye after 10pm! The temperature difference at the top of the mountain is large, bring a down jacket + warm baby!
