The highlight of our trip was definitely climbing up to the 360-degree viewpoint – the steep hike was challenging but so worth it. When we finally reached the top, the view completely took our breath away. We could see the entire island surrounded by turquoise water, with longtail boats dotting the coastline like tiny toys. The panoramic view made us feel like we were on top of the world. After coming down after the climb, we cooled off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters. The water was so refreshing, and floating there while looking up at the viewpoint we had just conquered was incredibly satisfying. If you’re up for a little adventure, this hike is a must-do in Krabi—just bring good shoes and plenty of water!

It’s a bit of a trek up (yes, there are stairs, and yes, your legs will complain), but once you hit the top? Instant postcard moment. We just stood there for ages, soaking it all in and pretending we were on a drone shot. The hike isn’t super long, maybe 20-30 mins, but bring water and don’t rush it. The trail is well maintained, and you’ll definitely want to stop for pics along the way. If you're already visiting Hong Island, do not skip the viewpoint. I felt that staying here for three hours was not enough, and I spent all three hours taking pictures. I don't know how to swim so I didn't snorkel. Everybody, Please make sure to visit this viewpoint whenever you visit Hong Island ! Though the climb is a little exhausting with 400 plus steps to the top. Don’t worry about not making it as there are 4 resting stops before you get to the top. The views are nice too! It’s totally worth the hike for a mesmerising 360 degree view of the lagoon and neighboring islands.
