April 4th:
Plane ✈️ 13:55 Hangzhou-Lanzhou, land at 17:00
Intercity 🚄 17:42 Zhongchuan Airport-Lanzhou Station, a ten-minute walk to Zhe Coffee Hotel (207RMB per night)
19:00, take a taxi to Lanshan Park to see the night view, considering traffic, about 30 minutes to go up the mountain, taxi fare on the meter 21.6, climb up to Santai Pavilion, photos p1-p2. (ps: If you're short on time or not interested in the cityscape, you can skip this, it's just a local spot for daily walks, I took over an hour to walk down the mountain because it was jammed~)
21:00, Zhongshan Bridge - Zhangye Road Night Market - Dazhong Alley, all close by to see the Yellow River night view, photos p3-p4.
April 5th:
09:00, arrive on time at the Dunhuang Art Museum, a quick stroll took about an hour, photos p5. (ps: If you're not in a hurry, you can listen to the explanations, there's a lot of popular science knowledge)
10:00, Art Museum to the Provincial Museum, a 20-minute taxi ride, 18 yuan, had pre-booked the morning session, aimlessly wandered and bought a lot of cultural and creative products, the Flying Horse of Gansu and pottery figurines were funny to look at, photos p6-p7. (ps: It's super crowded, and there are lots of people listening to the explanations, so reserve enough time)
12:00, across the street to Lanzhou Center for a stroll and lunch, bought some Xiaoma's Beef Tongue Biscuits nearby!
14:00, a half-day tour group to the Ink Danxia, the scenic area is super large, check the weather and reserve enough time, generally half a day is enough to slowly check in and stroll around, very photogenic, the close-up view of the Danxia is super impressive, photos p8-p10.
20:00, had a simple hotpot dinner with a friend, and that's the end of the trip!
April 6th:
An early morning flight that's not at all referential haha, brought a bunch of yogurt at the airport hhh, not just at the security checkpoint, there are also lots of yogurt machines near the boarding gate, p11-last for the messy eating and drinking fun hh
