You can take pictures of all the cars in the exhibition hall, but you can't touch them ~ after all, they are antiques. #MarchGoodPlaces2025 Yufuin is really a great place to relax, no wonder it is a favorite hot spring resort for both Japanese and Chinese. If you are not staying in a hot spring hotel, you can go to the spa for day, but not every hotel provides day spas, and not all hotels have open-air views. I chose the Sansuikan Onsen Hotel in Yufuin. The highlight of this hot spring hotel is that it has a semi-open-air hot spring from which you can overlook the scenery of Mount Yufu in the distance, and it is super beautiful... Because it is about 8 minutes walk from the station, it is very convenient. I recommend it to people who don’t have accommodation to come and take a bath. I bought a ticket from the self-service machine and the bathing fee was 1,000 yen, which was not cheap, but I felt it was worth it. There are 4 indoor pools + 2 outdoor pools, and a sauna for male guests. The open-air pool has a nice view, and the changing rooms are well-equipped with everything you need for hair, body and face painting. Take a dip in the open-air hot spring first, it will be very comfortable and your trip to Yufuin will not be in vain!

One of the most anticipated transportation experiences during my visit to Kyushu, Japan, was taking the popular sightseeing train "Yufuin-no-Mori" from Hakata to Yufuin and Beppu in Oita Prefecture. The booking process for this train is actually very simple. I selected the departure time and seat through the official website of JR Kyushu, and received a confirmation email after payment. After boarding the Yufuin-no-Mori train, the atmosphere in the entire carriage made me feel very relaxed. The interior of the train has a strong European and elegant style. There are many pictures of Yufuin scenery and some exquisite details on the decoration. Walking in it feels like walking in the forest. The overall atmosphere makes people feel very comfortable. There are many facilities on the train and a variety of meals are provided to make the ride more enriching. I specially ordered the "Yufuin Wheeled Rice" for 1,000 yen (tax included). The portion was generous and the taste was quite delicious, which made me even happier when I enjoyed it in the car. Overall, the ride on the Yufuin Forest was very pleasant. Share Fukuoka 8 days 7 nights travel plan 🇯🇵 This trip, I changed my sleeping place 1 time, so prepare a small bag. 😆 Day 1: - BKK —>> FUK at 5 am, arrive around 9 am Thai Vietjet Airlines (I recommend buying Deluxed for convenience when checking in and getting 20 kg of luggage. The price is not much different from buying the normal type ✨) - Land then leave your bags at the accommodation. We stayed at APA Hotel Hakata Higashihie Ekimae, just 2 train stations from the airport. - Then go to Teamlab Forest Fukuoka. The building has a restaurant. Stop to eat at the mall before going in. - The first day, go shopping at the mall because I didn't prepare clothes. Day 2: - Go to Uminonakamiji Aquarium. There is a dolphin show and a penguin show. Yufuin Onsen is all you need to know about Yufuin travel I was immediately attracted to this hot spring in Yufuin. The women's open-air hot spring is the largest pool I've ever been to. Since the hot spring is located in the mountains of Yufuin, the scenery is stunning and unobstructed. Each room type is unique. Pictures 6 and 7 show the room's open-air hot spring, which is also large, but the outdoor public one is even more beautiful. Most of the hotel staff are Korean, probably because many Koreans visit this hotel. On the day we went, we were the only Chinese family. The dinner and breakfast were also delicious. I recently traveled from Fukuoka to the beautiful Yufuin! 🚆 We booked the "Yufuin no Mori" special train. Tickets for this train need to be booked online in advance and picked up at Fukuoka Station. This arrangement makes us look forward to this trip! 🗓️ Taking the JR Kagoshima Main Line from Fukuoka Station, it takes about two hours to reach Yufuin Station. Transportation is very convenient. 🚉 As soon as you arrive at Yufuin, the first thing that catches your eye is the magnificent natural scenery, especially the Kinrin Lake. The lake surface is like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains, which is really refreshing! 🌄 At lunch time, we went to a popular restaurant, "Yufumabushi Shin Yufuin Ekimae Branch", and tasted eel and wagyu beef flavored kamameshi. 🍚 The ingredients of the Kamameshi here are fresh and the flavor is unique, especially the aroma of the eel and the tenderness of the wagyu beef, which makes people linger on the taste! The average per capita consumption is around 3,000 yen, which is very cost-effective. While taking a walk after the meal, we also saw some people taking a tour in a horse-drawn carriage, which was a very romantic feeling. 🐴 We also tried the matcha gelato from the Telato ice cream shop, which had a smooth texture and a rich matcha flavor that lingered on our teeth and cheeks! 🍦 Throughout the trip, we felt the leisurely atmosphere of Yufuin, which is really suitable for relaxing. Finally, we took the reserved "Yufuin no Mori" train back to Fukuoka. The cute shops and beautiful scenery of Yunotsubo Street were also impressive 😁 Yufuin is a really great place to relax. The quiet rural atmosphere, beautiful nature, and even hot springs! Next time, I have to go to the hot springs! The colorful town was beautiful and it was a perfect healing travel destination. You should definitely visit there too! 💖

Awesome! ! The rooms are all independent and very large. They are decorated in a Western and Japanese style that I like very much. The green facilities and food in the hotel exceed expectations. There is a private hot spring in the room and a large open-air hot spring♨️ There is also a cool and high-end bar in the hotel. It’s really chill to have a drink after taking a bath in the evening~ The town also has a Showa-era feel, and there are many cute shops and teahouses 📷Very exciting! ! ! Recommended index five🌟
