While traveling in Porto, the second largest city in Portugal, I stumbled upon a Portuguese restaurant called 'PapaVinhos' while strolling along the Douro River. Because it is not located in the bustling city center, there are relatively fewer tourists, the prices are reasonable, and it has a leisurely and romantic riverside atmosphere. PapaVinhos offers authentic Portuguese cuisine, especially in their steak and seafood dishes, which are fresh and delicious. The flavors are quite mild, not too salty or spicy, which suits Taiwanese tastes well. My friend and I ordered steak and cod as our main courses, which were prepared in a style similar to creamy baked seafood. It was a unique cooking method that we hadn't tried before and it was quite good. Portuguese potato chips are all hand-cut irregularly, retaining the skin and deep-fried, making them much tastier than frozen ones! The dishes also come with a large amount of salad, which helps to balance the richness of the meal. Overall, the dining experience was very pleasant, and the staff were super nice, which is probably why the place is popular with locals.

✨Hotel Highlights: really good location ♨️Amenities: normal 🛁Room Environment: nice! 🍽️Breakfast: good but not too many options 🛎️Hotel Service: good 💗Guest Experience: good overall The only problem, I suppose, is that the room was right below the breakfast hall and so, in the morning, I would hear a lot of noises from moving tables around! Room surely was not sound proof!

There is a large roundabout opposite the Porto Concert Hall with the Jardim da Rotunda da Boavista in the middle, where many locals like to sit and relax in the sun. Because there is always a quiet, shady place to be found in the woods of this circular island. In the center of the garden is a monument called Monumento de Homenagem aos Heróis da Guerra Peninsular, a 45-meter-high granite column with a lion suppressing an eagle at the top. Personal travel experience would recognize these city gates, monuments, because mostly the central point of the city. Departure see the return journey and see the heart is still D! There are at least six bus stops nearby where all buses via Boavista stop, as well as the Casa de Musica metro station. It also only takes 25 minutes to walk from this location to the super beautiful Sao Bento station.
