Disappointed with Schilthorn
#winhkflight #schilthorn #jamesbond #switzerland
Schilthorn is a summit in Europe and it is accessible by cable car. You need to pay for the ticket to travel to Schilthorn. The ticket was promoted for its highlights such as round trip ticket, spy world and cinema, walk of fame and thrill walk at station Birg.
I bought my ticket at the counter in Murren and I’m expecting to enjoy all the activities as promoted. There is no notification at the counter nor inform by the staff that there are closure of some of the activities. After I reached the submit of the Schilthorn, I only get to know that the walk of fame was closed. Thereafter, I only know that the thrill walk at station Birg was closed too.
Paid for the full ticket price and didn’t get to experience all the activities, is disappointed. If I know the main attractions were closed, I would not pay for the ticket. They should put up a notice if the activity is close.
I want to travel to Hong Kong for their culture and food.
Picturesque mountain village, Mürren

A great experience at Mt. Schilthorn
Are you a fan of 007 James Bond? Then Mt. Schilthorn is a must!! The building on Mt Schilthorn is called Piz Gloria and it is the primary filming location for the movie of James Bond! There is also a mini museum/exhibition about 007 James Bond within the Mt Schilthorn.
We visited Mt Schilthron during the winter and we got to enjoy the panoramic winter view. At Mt. Schilthron, you would be able to enjoy amazing views of the alps, namely Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.
Overall, we had a great time at Mt Schilthorn. 💯
Switzerland's alternative choice to not climb the Jungfrau: Schilthorn and Lauterbrunnen.

Schilthorn
The Schilthorn is a summit in Europe, in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. It overlooks the valley of Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland, and is the highest mountain in the range lying north of the Sefinenfurgge Pass. The Schilthorn lies above the village of Mürren, from where a cable car leads to its summit.
The Schilthorn is a famous snow-capped mountain in Switzerland. There are two tourist towns at the foot of the mountain - Muerren and Lauterbrunnen. The Muerren is located on a cliff at 1,650 meters above sea level, with a "cliff town". The title, Lauterbrunnen, Lauterbrunnen is located in the valley below, known as the "waterfall town".
Because the motor vehicle is prohibited from entering, the atmosphere of the alpine plain mountain village is preserved and the air is fresh. Here you can find waterfalls and winding rocks everywhere. It is located on the west side of the Jungfrau region, with more than 70 waterfalls and streams falling from the cliffs. It is quiet, sweet and escaping, so longing for the life here, envy the people here.
How to play Schilthorn?
1, Skyline Skyline and Revolving Restaurant PIZ GLORIA
To Xuelangfeng, you need to take a large box cable car to reach the observation deck at 2970 meters above sea level in Mirren. The observation platform is located on the fourth floor. Birg is the middle of the cable car to the Schilthorn, 2677 meters above sea level, the tourists who usually get off at Birg are planning to walk, there is a trail to walk to Mirren, It is said that the scenery is very good, but it is somewhat difficult. The altitude difference reaches 1039 meters, which requires a relatively large amount of physical strength. Birg also has a BISTRO BIRG restaurant and observation deck for visitors to rest. Starting in 2016, a new project has been added under the viewing platform called thrill walk, glass paving
