Before returning to Thailand, we did not forget to check the rights of the various credit cards that we hold to see if they are eligible to use the lounge at KLIA Airport or not because we are flying back from this airport (terminal 1). Then we came across a lounge called Sphere Lounge, which is not in the airport building, but in the lobby of Sama Sama Hotel, which is opposite the airport and has a walkway connecting to the KLIA airport building. 🥳 How to use the lounge for those who are eligible 1. Go check in to receive your boarding pass first. Then take the elevator down to the 2nd floor, food court zone. You will find a golf cart that provides a free shuttle service to Sama Sama Hotel (the car leaves approximately every 5 minutes). 2. When you arrive at the hotel, look for the Sphere Lounge, show your rights and boarding pass to the staff, and you can use the service. 3. This place is not a buffet, but you can choose 2 menus per person. Today we chose lamb steak and beef and chicken satay. The taste is good. 4. You can order drinks all the time. There is coffee, soft drinks, and beer. After using the service, don't forget to leave time to travel back to the airport building and board the plane. 😁😊

#favouriteitinerary Everytime flying with Malaysia Airlines departing from KLIA, I would visit their Golden Lounge domestic for plan spotting and food savoury. The drop glass design of the lounge allows full view towards the view outside where you can view aircraft taxing and taking off. Particularly enjoying their local desserts especially the cheese cake. Not to forget to try Malaysia Airline’s signature daging rendang as well as tropical fruits.

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 First experience at Golden Lounge at Kuala Lumpur Airport, Malaysia! This time I departed from Kuala Lumpur Airport and took Malaysia Airlines to the resort of Langkawi. Thanks to my friend’s high-speed airline card, I was able to enter the airport’s VIP lounge, the Golden Lounge, for domestic flights. The VIP lounge is close to the domestic A2 boarding gate. The long and narrow space is quite spacious. You can clearly see the planes taking off and landing along the captain's runway. The view is great. It provides basic drinks, a cooked food area, and freshly cooked pasta. The taste is just so-so, but the view is good. The other flight was from Langkawi to Penang, also a domestic route in Malaysia. This time, I entered the St. Regis VIP lounge. The decoration was obviously more elegant, as if I had been upgraded from economy class to business class. This time, I will introduce a Starbucks for the chosen few, which is only available to those using the Kuala Lumpur International Airport terminal. 🫶 When you enter Terminal 1, you will notice that there are surprisingly few cafes, and even if there are, they are extremely expensive. The quality is questionable, but you have to pay several times the price of the city, so the cost performance is extremely poor... On the other hand, it is a fairly large and clean airport Starbucks. There are plenty of souvenirs such as tumblers and Malaysian-only accessories, and the prices are cheaper than other rip-off cafes in the area, so there are a lot of people. However, because there are so many customers, the waiting time is quite long. I waited about 5 minutes to order and more than 10 minutes to pick up. However, there are many seats and you can see the runway well, so if you like planes, you can kill a lot of time here. On my way back to Japan from Phuket during the New Year holidays, I used the Plaza Premium Lounge in KLIA T1 for a layover! #magicalxmastrip I took a Malaysia Airlines flight to Singapore en-route Kuala Lumpur, and since I am a Gold Enrich member I am entitled to the Golden Lounge for some meals and rest. The buffet spread is really scumptious and there are lots of food choices available, that a meal can be settles there literally. The interior is also very nice and cozy, and we had lots of food before our departure to another city. There is also a shower facility and napping area, so you can really recharge yourself before headimg to your next or final destination.

Sama Sama Hotel is connected to Kuala Lumpur Airport, so it is a good place to stay on the last day of your trip to Malaysia. They also provide pick-up and drop-off service near the airport terminal check-in counter, which is very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bed was especially comfortable, so I was able to enjoy a proper staycation while sleeping soundly. The shower amenities in the shower room also smelled good. There is an outdoor pool on the basement floor, and it is large, so I was able to spend a leisurely time swimming. The view was also great because I could see the airport control tower from the pool. If you want to enjoy a staycation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I highly recommend Sama Sama Hotel ❤️
