Spa town next to Barcelona
If you visit Caldes de Montbui you must try out one of the hotspring thermal spas there.
The village is known for its hotsprings and high temperature water coming from the underground. Already hundreds of years ago, in the times of the Roman Empire the hot water was used in public baths
One spa that maintains that tradition in a recently built setting in the style of the Roman era is Espai Cel, the spa of the Hotel Termes Victoria
Entrance ranges from 35€ to 44€ depending on your choice of package and the day when you come - weekends are mor expensive than weekdays -
We chose to go for the 2 hours treatment that includes access to 7 pools - 5 warm water, 1 hot water and 1 cold water.
The pools also have pressure points and water cascades and one of them features a semi-outdoor space to watch the stars if going at night
Pro-tip: bring your own flip flops since these are mandatory and if you do not have they will make you pay 4€ for a pair.
