My trip to Sarikei Market in Sarawak was a colorful shopping adventure! The market was bustling with life, and everywhere I looked, there were fresh fruits, vegetables, and local treats. Strolling through the market, I discovered unique spices, handmade crafts, and friendly vendors eager to share stories and smiles. The colorful stalls were packed with goods, making it a feast for the eyes and senses. I picked up some local snacks and souvenirs—it was a shopper’s paradise! #travellerswonderland Came here for its delicious breakfast. There’s plenty of selection for your morning eats. Its a chinese owned shop but with halal food! Must try - nasi lemak and roti bakar by charcoal. Don't forget also to try Mee Kolok. There’s even next door kopitiam you can try as well! Again, price estimation is clueless because a good Sarawakian friend had paid for our breakfast.

Wawasan Inn is a cosy and small hotel to stay, but with limited basic amenities and no breakfast provided. The hotel is strategically located at the heart of Sarikei town. Eateries, shops, waterfront and other places of interest are within walking distance. There are plenty of free parkings in front of the hotel. The hotel is truly recommended for travellers with tight budget.
