Wat Suthat: Quiet & Peaceful Gem in Bangkok ✨
#bangkok Wat Suthat is one of the oldest temples in Bangkok. It is among one of the high grade first class royal temples in Thailand. The main prayer hall displays the incarnations of Buddha. The Bronze Buddha sculpture in the hall dates back to the 13th century. I went in the afternoon and spent some hours there. Wat Suthat isn’t one of the popular tourist temples in the city. There was barely 8 visitors around. The atmosphere was very quiet & peaceful 🕊️ Pray in the prayer hall & meditate in the premises of the temple.
🎟️ - 100 baht for foreigners
👚 - Dress respectfully with shoulders & knees covered.
🚇- Nearest MRT is Sam Yot, then take a taxi 🚕 or tuk tuk 🛺 to the temple if you don’t want to walk.

Niushoushan, or Niushou Mountain, with an altitude of 243m, is an emerging attraction in Jiangning District in the southern suburb of Nanjing city. Niushoushan is also known as “Ox Head Mountain” because its East Peak and West Peak face each other in the shape of the two horns of an ox. Niushoushan has long been forgotten by people until Oct 27, 2015 when the world’s only parietal relic of Buddha was put there. A grandiose Buddhism-themed palace was built to place the relic of Buddha. Since then, there have been more and more visitors coming to Niushoushan to worship the Buddha, experience Buddhism culture and marvel at its magnificent architecture. It is a place where both Buddhists and regular tourists can enjoy. If you are planning a trip to Nanjing, you shouldn’t miss it.
Type: Mountains/ Buddhist Park

Late Autumn of Petite France
#fallingforfall
📍Petite France, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Petite France is a French-themed cultural village located next to Cheongpyeong Lake in Gapyeong. You can take a lot of pictures along with the pastel colored French style buildings built against beautiful mountains and a gorgeous lake. You can also find several museums, souvenir shops and cafes selling Korean food here.
Famous for its scenery, this french village has appeared in Korean dramas such as “Beethoven Virus”, “Personal Taste”, “Secret Garden” and “My Love from the Stars”. If you're a K-Drama fan, Petite France is a must see!

Tian Tan Buddha✨
One of the activities to do in Hong Kong is to visit the religious complex located in Ngong Ping, on Lantau Island, where you can enjoy the great Tian Tan Buddha and the various temples that surround the entire compound. You can get to the place whether by cable car, by bus, or even if you dare you can do it by foot or by bicycle. If you choose the cable car you will have the opportunity to contemplate incredible views.

The Little Streets Along North Bridge Road
There are many shop houses located along North Bridge Road starting from Arab Streets where there are many shops selling many colourful textile and clothings, traditional middle Eastern restaurants that are owned by middle Eastern people themselves, the many small little cafes even from dessert cafes to just coffee and the standard western ones.
Also, you will also be able to see the beautifully built sultan mosque located in between of muscat Street and South Bridge Road. Although visitors are not allowed to enter the mosque for phototaking, there are several picturesque spot to take photo of the mosque within one of the street. My recommendation is to head towards Jalan Pisang Road which is directly perpendicular to the mosque, giving it an amazing shot.

Spent an amazing 3 days in Gubei Watertown. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of Beijing. We spent our days exploring the beautiful town, going on boat rides, hiking up the Wall and enjoying delicious food and coffee. The fountain and light show was a particular bonus too - stunning!
It was a dreamy long weekend. 100% recommend!

Simple & Elegant life in Strasbourg city
Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace is a unique city full of monuments and beautiful buildings. Strasbourg is located in eastern France and lies on the border with Germany, giving it a unique flavor of both cultures. This city really stands out for its beauty and its rich architectural heritage with styles from the Medieval, Renaissance, Romantic and Art Nouveau eras. At every turn you will want to stop and take a picture. Despite the fact that Strasbourg is the capital of Alsace and houses the European Parliament, this city feels like a small village as everyone passes timbered buildings and over bridges lined with flowers. At the same time you get the youthful and cosmopolitan vibe as Strasbourg offers plenty of cultural events and festivities throughout the year. Strasbourg is about enjoying a simple, elegant lifestyle, cultural activities, cafe and hearty meals.
Getting There - There is an international Airport in Entzheim 10km of Strasbourg, with connection to many cities in Europe. You can also get there by train, it takes 2 hours from Paris with the TGV.
To Do’s
Get lost in the small streets and enjoy its beauty. Also wherever you turn you are likely to find small local Alsatian restaurants, cafés or winestub. Typical food you need to try is Tarte flambée, Choucroute, as dessert the Kougelhopf Cake. Excellent wines from the region include Gewürztraminer and Riesling. Fun fact, foie gras was invented in Strasbourg.
A must visit is the Strasbourg Cathedral. It is the most beautiful Cathedral I have seen in Europe. Not far from the Cathedral you have the picturesque “La Petite France”. It is a cute historic district filled with outdoor shops, restaurants and charming hotels right on a canal offering water views. Strasbourg also has plenty of Museum. In case you plan to visit in December, it is worth checking out the Strasbourg Christmas Market, one of the oldest and largest in Europe!

Road trip to Mueang Nan#Noble house#Prasing
Mueang Nan is a capital district city of Nan province, in the northern of Thailand and share border with Mueang Gnuen, Laos PDR.
There are several ways to get there from Bangkok such as by buses, flight, but we will share our experience how to get there from Luang Prabang, Laos.
We hired and drove the car from Luang Prabang thought Hongsa and Mueang Gnuen where we has to pass the Lao - Thai immigration, then we drove down from the top to bottom of hill where the city located, our road trip took 4 hours drive.
We decided to stay one night in the town, where are close to many tourists attraction places, we visited the Noble House, known locally as Hong Chao Fong Kham. It is a Lanna-Thai traditional house with cultural artifacts on show. Entrance is a 20 to 30 Baht donation, and we also went to Wat Phra sing. it is located near the townhall used to house a major Buddha statue. A special feature is the Lanna-style Ubosot and the wooden door panels carved by Chiang Rai contemporary craftsmen#culturalattraction #staycation
Yangshuo

If you still haven’t visited this ancient street, then I assure you that you’re missing out on a lot all my experiences.
Going to this location has been really interesting and it always offers something new every single time.
There are so many things you can do along this road you can buy food you can have a beautiful view of the scenery. You can experience so much of the traditional Chinese culture you can see some boats riding along the canals which can be very entertaining because sometimes you have some singers on the boats which make the whole experience wonderful.
This is why I always recommend that you visit this place at least one time if you are in Suzhou.

Roaming the Middle Kingdom Hotel Complex “Beauty Crown” - Sanya
Every tourist in Sanya is passing these beautiful buildings in the form of trees. I saw them in my very first day in Sanya when I was going from the airport to Dadonghai beach.
This is a complex of hotels "Beauty Crown Hotel". There are nine buildings in total, including one 7-star hotel and two 5-star hotels. And in front of the tree houses there is a famous theater which hosts the Miss World competition.
I recommend visiting this place on your own, without a guided tour! It will cost you nothing and you can explore the whole area by your own. It is a great place to take cool pictures!

Old Bukit Timah Railway Station🛤️2021
On the 12th of December 2021, I've revisited the old Bukit Timah railway station.
The walking trails and paths are now restructured so I no longer have to look for uneven ground, wild encounters of pebbles, and just enjoy the scenic view of beautiful nature.
It was very crowded here but as a self-certified photographer, I take good shots that exclude people from my snaps.
It's about a 3-minute walk from the starting point on rifle range road to the railway station.
Going deeper towards the end will bring you to the Green Corridor but my stamina no longer peaks like before so I would end it off halfway towards a mini garden followed by the atas private estates which leads to the end of the trek.
This trek is highly recommended to everyone. People of any fitness levels can clear it with ease and bring back good photography memories.
Getting there: There is the blue line King Albert Park MRT station nearer to the start point or the Beauty World MRT if you needed to grab some food from its nearby Beauty World food centre or Bukit Timah market & food centre.

Xi'an the city with thousand of year culture has numerous sites and attractions, leisure areas and fashion boutiques, old authentic taste food in small home based canteens and modern fusion style restaurants. To my mind, Xi'an seems to be the best destination to go regardless season or reason. This city will give you what you are looking for. I have come here several times and always discovered something new. Welcome to the Xi'an city, the capital of Shaanxi province.

Old Bukit Timah Railway Station 🛤️ 2018
On the 16th of September 2018, we decided to visit the old Bukit Timah railway station.
It was before its renovation of the trails and the station.
The trails were both rocky and muddy, will tend to be moist in the morning so have to be really careful back then.
It is now restructured so no worries, just walk and enjoy nature's kisses.
It was kinda empty back then and there weren't many people around despite being a Sunday, probably before bloggers published a guide to it.
Getting there: There is the blue line King Albert Park MRT station nearer to the start point or the Beauty World MRT if you needed to grab some food from its nearby Beauty World food centre or Bukit Timah market & food centre.
You will arrive at the railway station within 3 minutes of walking from the starting point on rifle range road.
Going deeper will bring you to the Green Corridor and I would always take the other path towards the private housing estate where I would end up back to where my starting point is to end my hike.
This is unlike the Bukit Timah hill hike but definitely worth a walk and break some sweat.
A rare and good trekking spot in Singapore that you must visit.

Three Days Serengeti - Ngorongoro
The Supreme Safari. On this popular safari, you will explore two of Africa’s 7 natural wonders. Watch the breathtaking wildebeest migration at Serengeti and spot one of the rare rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater. On this safari, you will experience an African adventure beyond your wildest dreams
Day 1: Moshi to Serengeti National Park
We will leave Moshi early morning and travel to Serengeti National Park. We will travel to Serengeti on a road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way. The golden savannah and endless plains, teeming with zebras, wildebeest and giraffes make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. On this day, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai kopje (a small, rocky hill in a generally flat area), where you will have the opportunity to view the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, we will proceed further into the plains for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night at the Serengeti,
Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
We will begin our day with an early morning game drive in the central Serengeti. The savannah is an active landscape and the air is flooded with the melodies the birds create as the regenerated sunlight starts to illuminate the full landscape. Your guide will study the prints on the ground to pursue predators. We will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation. You will be provided with dinner and overnight .
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Moshi
After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so guests will be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Did you know it was formed over two million of years ago? A large volcano erupted, collapsing the volcano, but left a perfectly unbroken crater, known as a caldera. Within the amazing crater you can expect to view the playful zebra, lumbering hippo, swift wildebeest and cackling hyenas. In addition, there are flocks of graceful flamingos along the Soda Lake, while hungry hawks and vultures circle the sky in search their next meal of discarded carcass. Beautiful storks, ibis, and cranes are popular water birds in the crater, a sight not to miss. After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings, we will finally start our journey back to Moshi.

Angkor Wat- Siem Reap, Cambodia
Travel to Angkor Wat, which is located North of the City Siem reap in Cambodia
I recommend organising a Tuktuk driver to pick you up early the next morning so you can experience the breathtaking view of sunrise at Siem reap
There are many many people there so once you arrive in pitch black, just sit and wait!
Angkor Wat is one of the world’s largest religious complexes and as a result there are many temples to explore.
You can do this on foot partly, but your tuktuk driver will take you round the loop to visit all the sites.
We were finished by lunchtime as it is a lot of walking and an early start, but this should definitely be on every travellers bucket list!

Xining, Qinghai
Xining is the biggest city in Qinghai province. An easy step to get to the famous Qinghai Lake, but the city itself is worth visiting too. Fly in, or take a train like I did from nearby Lanzhou.
When you're in Xining, you're at the outer edge of the Tibetan Plateau. You can find a glimpse of Tibetan life all around, but nowhere as clear as at the Tibetan Medicine Museum. It's one of the most interesting museums I've been to in China. Of course you can find all kinds of statues as well as plenty of other historic relics. The star of the show, however, is an amazing tangka painting that's about 600 meters long. You can see it all stretched. Better bring your walking shoes.
In the city center there are dozens of big shopping malls. You'll easily find a place to eat here. But I suggest going a little outside of the city center towards Wanda Plaza and Sofitel. Around there are plenty of nice little restaurants and bars, such as an Indian restaurant.

Old meets new in Xian
Xian is easily accessed by high speed train from all directions, whether you are coming from Beijing, Luoyang, Chengdu or Lanzhou. But of course you can always fly in.
Every time I go to Xian, I pay a visit to the bell tower. It's just so breathtakingly beautiful, especially when lit up at night. Also walk around Huiminjie, the Muslim quarter near the Drum Tower. Here you can find all kinds of street food as well as many souvenirs to take home.
I usually stay at the Mercure on People's Square. It's a little old fashioned, but it's clean, in walking distance of the Bell Tower and the staff is very friendly. You can even use the swimming pool at the neighboring Sofitel as they have the same owner.
Although you can find all kinds of western food in Xian, my absolute favorite thing to do is to try the local food. You can try rougamo, yangroupaomo or my favorite the biangbiangmian. If you want something a little fancier, try the dumplings at Dintaifung at SKP mall. They never disappoint.

I like big Buddhas and i cannot lie!
Leshan Giant Buddha, Sichuan
Getting there- take the fast train from Chengdu station to Leshan, from there get a taxi
Price- 80RMB
Recommendations for your visit- Spend about a half day here, hike the Buddha and then walk a bit further down the river and get a boat tour to give you a different view
- The walkways on the Buddha can get quite congested, if you are available arrive earlier
- the path by the river is a lovely stretch for a walk once you are finished
- There are some stalls selling basic food and drink
- There are places to store luggage here if necessary

Yeliguan Forest Park
To get to Yeliguan, you can take a bus from Lanzhou South bus station, which will take you there in under three hours. From there you can easily walk around the little town or take a taxi to the forest park.
To get to the forest park you first have to climb the mountain. It really is too long to climb, so I suggest you go by car or hire a taxi. Once on top of the mountain you can explore on foot on the wooden walkways.
If you are looking for a place to stay or eat, you can go to Yeliguan town. It's a small town of only two main streets and a couple of side alleys, but you can find a couple of hotels and quite a few Chinese restaurants. There is also a tourist information center, where the staff is more than happy to help.

Saint Sophia's Cathedral ~ Harbin 哈尔滨
📌
Located near the famous pedestrian street, it's a short walk if you choose a hotel near here.
哈尔滨市-道里区-透笼街88号-索菲亚广场
📸
To get inside the cathedral, it's 20yuan per person and you need to book by scanning the code outside. HOWEVER, only Chinese citizens with an ID card can purchase them so you will need to ask a friend to buy for you. Please note! It's not open on Mondays. Once you do get inside though, it's quite beautiful and amazing to see the walls in its original condition. A striking contract to the outside.
🏠
We stayed in a hotel called Huate Hotel (华特酒店) which was at the upper end of pedestrian street so took us about 30mins to walk here.
☕️
There is a cafe nearby however it is quite small and we ended up walking back out again and going to a Starbucks just across the road in a mall. There are a number of cafes around however most were closed due to the holidays.

Street Life in Shanghai
I always try to fly into HongQiao Airport rather than Pudong, as it is much more convenient to get into the city.
Every time I go to Shanghai, I just have to see the Bund. It's especially beautiful at night. Try to get a spot at one of the fancy restaurants here for a great view to go with a great meal. At Mercato, for instance, you can order some of the best Italian food in the city.
What I love about the city is that it is so young and modern. You can see that in all the street art places. My favorite area to see street art is M50, across the river from the train station.
