Lisbon’s the most famous mustard-yellow Tram known is Tram no. 28 that runs from Martim Moniz to Campo de Ourique. One of Lisbon's most iconic symbols, if you’re visiting Lisbon you can’t miss them! 🇵🇹 These vintage electric vehicles are city’s most photographed public transportation. Tram 28 is a public transportation. 📍Gyeongbokgung Palace We lived just next to this palace and walked about 5 min to get there, we got tickets from our hotel so we just had to exchange them at the counter to enter. If you wear the traditional clothes hanbok you can actually enter for free. You can easily rent these around this area. We did rent for 2 hours some years ago and I think it was a lot of fun actually. After the palace we walked to the next location.. 📍Bukchon Hanok On the way from the palace to this place there are lots of charming small shops for clothing, souvenirs and other cute stuff. The Bukchon Hanok Village is also perfect for wearing traditional clothes. It’s a traditional residential area much like the old hutongs in Beijing. Pearl River Bridge and awesome sculpture! 🌉
Exploring new cities, always one of the best things to do is search for the history of the town. I visited Humen Pearl River Bridge and Weiyuan Fort. When I arrived there, it was a wide and long river marine with a beautiful view throughout the horizon. Since entering the Weiyuan Fort, you can see many cannons there, the whole place is small. Many historical battles were here, this area was very important in geopolitics. You can enjoy in beautiful and massive more than 3 kilometers long Humen Pearl River Bridge. The view is incredible and relaxing, near the fort there is the Naval sea battle museum, where you can find even more relics and interesting information about Opium War. What mostly grab my attention was a big very cool design sculpture made by designer Zhang Xian! Catch Zzz’s Before Early Flights
Address: 500 Tokko, Narita, Chiba 286-0106, Japan Hotel Nikko Narita is located 10 minutes away from Narita Airport by bus or car. The easiest and cheapest way to get there is by their shuttle bus from Narita Airport itself. The hotel has shuttle bus services every 15 minutes from each terminal to the hotel itself! It is extremely convenient. If you don’t want to get food at the airport itself, the hotel has eateries within the building as well. The room is plenty spacious. From bedroom to toilet, you’ll not feel cramped as you would compared to hotels in Tokyo itself. There’s nothing special about this place though. But they do the necessities right and that’s the important part. The shower is powerful with consistent and reliable hot water. Beds are comfy and soft. My visit to Nyhavn couldn’t be more colourful! It is almost impossible to visit Copenhagen without walking down along Nyhavn neighbourhood. The most iconic place and picturesque place in Copenhagen is Nyhavn harbour, where the canal is lined on both sides by vibrant colours of 17th and early 18th century traditional Danish townhouses, which accommodate many great restaurants, cafes and bars. Red Houses in the Kastellet Fortress 🏡
Very interesting and historic as a place, is the northern part of Copenhagen located near the Baltic sea. The colourful Commander's House in Kastellet, stands out with its red tiled roof and decorated pediment. We entered through this beautiful green paths with houses busts of sculptures that reminded us of kings, queens and victories. Rosenborg castle is a renaissance castle located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and one of the most well preserved Renaissance castles in the world…Throne to the crowns, jewels, art treasures and the coronation chairs..This beautiful grand castle holds nearly 400 years of royal treasures, and the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia. HANGZHOU MAGNIFICENT ART GALLERY
In as much as I love exploration, There’s a level of calmness and peace I find in such places. I found this art gallery located in Hangzhou. It looks small but it’s quite huge, it has so many amazing aesthetic pictures to see and read to have more history on how so many things were formed such as the beginning of pen writing, the owner of Coca Cola and his history. So so so much more….. Getting There - a car or metro is fine that you prefer, I used a car regardless. Attractions - the museum is the only attraction however if you navigate I believe there are more things to visit around the area… despite that, there are so many beautiful restaurants with good meals to try out, both western and Chinese based on your preferences Hotels - I didn’t sleep so I didn’t search for hotels but the place us in the city, I believe hotels are just close by Food & Restaurants - millions of restaurants and food, cafes, hotpot’s, buffet’s to pick from, you won’t suffer on this. Shopping - many shops close by too….. for snacks, and emergencies. Too bad I didn’t take pictures of the outside, I was going to do so to give more insight…. "Kastellet" Beautiful windmill 🇩🇰
Kastellet Fort is one of my favourite place in Copenhagen for getting away from hustle and the bustles city centre. It's so calm and peaceful here spend your mornings walking down the gardens or jog along. The last windmill in Copenaghen and is located in Kastellet. The structure is similar to the dutch windmills, and it dates back to the 1600s. Kastellet in Copenhagen is one of the best preserved star fortresses in Northern Europe. Once you can enter the garden you’ll find a few buildings like a church, today it is a very important historic place in Denmark with a beautifully preserved public park. Gokyo Lakes is the most beautiful and peaceful trekking trail in the Everest region. This trek starts from a flight from Lukla and follows the Everest Base Camp trail for 3 days then explicit the trail to the Gokyo Lakes. This trek is much more peaceful and beautiful compared to the Everest Base Camp Trek. It leads us to the amazing viewpoint of Gokyo Ri and Gokyo Lakes. The morning view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuotse, Cho Oyu, and the Gokyo Lakes from the Gokyo ri are amazing! Art Culture in Hong Kong
The Art Lane in Hong Kong is one the best place to see the art culture of the city. It is located right at Exit B3 of Sai Ying Pun. Once you exit the station you’ll be greeted with walls and walls of art! From cartoonish cats and chickens, to some abstract stuff on the entrances of restaurants. Fun fact is that it is both local and international artists that decorated the walls of Art Lane! So you’re not just seeing the local culture but art pieces of global talent! What I really enjoyed most about Art Lane is how the art murals were integrated with the location. In other art streets i’ve visited most of the art were confined to the walls. However, over here it stretches over to the pipes, the playground, the concrete shelter over some store fronts, air conditioning ledges and they even top it all off with some lighting decorations by places like the staircases. Perfect place to just enjoy street art and if you’re into it a photoshoot! I went with a group of 5 people, and despite being in a big space, we could hear one another really well without having the need to shout over the background music/sound. The staffs are well-versed in English, on top of their own language. This is highly appreciated, especially for foreigners (like myself) to ask for further clarifications and/or requests. One thing you HAVE to try would definitely be the smoked salmon pizza. It is hands down of the most amazing pizza i ever had. The crust is amazing! crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It’s also not too packed, so it doesn’t make you feel as if your mouth has to chew for very long just to finish the crust. On average, the food price range from VND150K to VND200k (USD 9 - 11). There is a percentage level indicate the level of chocolate drinks, the staff is kind and explain to us well since we are first timers. The higher the percentage, the more bitter it is. There are also “notes” for each choco drinks to let you know how it taste like, they even serve croffles for small bites too! We got a Ecuador (69%) which is more on sweet & nutty taste and a India (72%) slightly bitter & very nutty taste. We would recommend people who prefer more sweeter chocolate tasted drinks can go for 70% or below. The place is very relaxing and quiet, there are not many seats and normally people would order takeaway instead. Climbed Little Adam’s Peak TWICE 🙌🏼😍🇱🇰
I had an incredible 1 week trip in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 I took the most scenic train ride from Kandy to Ella. The very first thing I did the next morning is to make sure to climb up the Little Adam’s Peak. Woke up at 5:15am and left our homestay at 5:30am, started to walk and was very amazed that I have finally touched some real live tea leaves 🍃 It may be still dark during this time however, the sounds of the birds while walking and the nature sounds is just so soothing. I am really stunned when I saw the Ella Rock, what a beauty! 👀 It’s an easy walk going up, and of course, I had to try the popular Orange King Coconut from Sri Lanka. The sunrise view is just breathtaking! Sharing my first experience Queenstown New Zealand! It was a beautiful city and breathtaking views everywhere in Queenstown. Visited the Glenorchy Wharf which also the screen of The Lord of the Rings took place. Sit on the wharf and enjoying the view of the mountains and sun kissed on your face are one of the most beautiful things words can’t describe. Everything here is beautiful and priceless. I wish I could sit here the whole day. Trust me, you must visit Glenorchy when you visit Queenstown. 🇦🇺🌏 🦘 ✍🏾 📍Valley of the Giants Rd., Tingledale, WA || 4-5hrs from Perth City ✏️Tingle Trees have shallow roots. Compaction of soil around the trees can lead to their death. Please be careful not to step on them or climb. 📌📕2nd out of town trip this year is soooo awesommmmmeeee! I want to stay for sure but reality wouldn't let me so i'll just have to share a few snaps (from the hundreds i took) and hoping to get others to try and goooo "explore the world" and breaattthhheee! From my unwritten list of my "to travel places" Albany, West Australia is now 🔓. ✏️This Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is living to its name and is incredibly huugggeee! I am a bit scared to see the bottom because the walkway is moving (just a bit nothing to worry about🤣) but i still braved and took a loooooot of pictures (please check all other posts as sometimes sequence might not be up to how it should be). 💁‍♀️ According to valleyofthegiants website this treetop has been up there for about 25yrs now, cool!!! Still looks so new and more upgrades are on its way😎. -OPEN DAILY 900 to 1700hours 🌏What to see: 👁️ -Giant Red Tingle Trees (Eucalyptus Jacksonii) mostly found in this area only (worldwide) and usually 8-25 metres (26-148ft) with a circumference of up to 24 metres (79ft).The tallest is 52 m (171ft) tall. With over 400yrs of age a few of them are still standing💙. -Grandma Tingle (i have not seen this one as i think it is closed area where some upgrade is being done) -King Tingle that has not been burned inside of its base and towering straight and tall among its gnarled friends around. In every four years you will have the chance to see his crowning glory of white flowers.😍 -Birds of the Tingle: White-tailed black cockatoos, Western Rosellas, and Twenty-eight Parrots nest in the tree hallows ; White-breasted Robin, Golden Whistler, Wren 📒 Tree Top Walk is 600m loop reaching up to 400m above the grounds 📒 The Ancient Empire is 450m ground walk amongst the red tingles and partially accessible by wheelchairs 🚦Situated between Denmark and Walpole, this valley of the giants region is iconic and world famous! 400km from Perth City, WA.
