❤️ Saloma Link Bridge 🇲🇾
#kualalumpur
A bridge connecting the KLCC area with the Kg Bharu area (local food paradise). It was packable over the weekend but manageable. From klcc to this bridge we need about a 15 minute walk. The color of the bridge constantly changes depends on the date, time and event. We are lucky to see the bridge on a few occasions. I recommend going early to this bridge around 7:30-830. Then you may have a very large crowd especially on the weekend.
My family of 6 enjoyed our visit to this must-see new spot for the city’s night lights. This is a short (69-meter) bridge but it has a strong package in its picturesque architecture, changing the color of the lights that when we visited included the colors that make up the flag of Malaysia. It is a functional bridge connecting Kampong Barrow and the Kuala Lumpur Koti Center and the views at each end of the bridge are beautiful.
You can also see the twin towers in glory-lit games with the bridge. The name of the bridge is named after the singer and the Malaysian actress
Saloma.
Flame & Fern Cafe
#kualalumpur
Smoked Bailey's Tiramisu was just ✨W O W✨. Hands down the best tiramisu I've ever tasted in JB town. Velvety blanket of mascarpone cheese over bailey's + espresso-dipped ladyfingers' such a luscious treat to indulge in. Highly recommend to enjoy this dessert post-meal. 💯Fresh Berries Panna Cotta (on the house by the lovely crew at Flame & Fern! ❤️🔥) was creamy, tangy & hits all the right notes.Wonderful experience & will definitely be back for more! 😍
🇲🇾Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park for BIG FUN
#kualalumpur
This is definitely a kids-friendly theme park! It is nicely laid out and clean. It’s air-conditioned and sheltered hence do not need to worry about the weather at all. It’s also well designed with amazing lights and there are a huge variety of rides. Most of them are fun rides and we could enjoy them with the little one. The queueing time for most younger kids rides lines was pretty short and moved quickly. The biggest plus of this place is that there is an option of paying for single rides. Though the park has almost 20 rides, we get to choose what we ride and pay for only that ride. Of course there is also an option of getting an unlimited pass that allow us to enjoy all rides unlimited. Best place to bring the kids to have some fun!

🇲🇾 Uniqlo coffee in KL
This Uniqlo coffee just open in KL and it is inside Fahrenheit88 shopping centre, opening daily from 10am to 10pm. I have came across another Uniqlo coffee at Tokyo at their Ginza flagship outlet. This Uniqlo coffee at KL is much smaller but also have many customers queuing. The coffee stand is on ground level and you can proceed to level 1 to grab a seat nearby the windows. It has awesome views of Pavilion KL and you can people watching them crossing the busy Bukit Bintang roads. They also sell a varieties of cookies and the prices are not really expensive.

Come to level 3 at The Westin KL and be greeted for cocktail and canape from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. You will enjoy an awesome buffet spread with 1 live station and many assortments of food. I enjoy the DIY gado gado and the cut your own salad. There are live green plants at the salad bar and you will use a pair of scissors to cut off the leaves for your salad. You can also approach the bar station to get free flow of wine and cocktails. You can place your drinks order and the bartender will bring it to you. It is so interesting to find this popular Vietnam café in Kuala Lumpur and it is at The Starhill, same level as Eslite Bookstore. Since this is an overseas outlet but you can still spot all the original Vietnamese decoration. It is better as it is much more spacious compared to the other Cong Caphe in Vietnam. You can find those small stool seating here too at The Starhill and there are also regular seatings. There are even Vietnam hats (Nón lá) available here for you to take photo with it.

#kualalumpur
🧡🧡🧡
#Tow Boo Kong Temple Butterworth
Tao Pu Cong Temple, also known as the Temple of the Nine Deities of the Emperor, was built in the 19th century by the Chinese community in Paterworth. Built in traditional Chinese style, the temple features intricate wood sculptures, colored murals, and a large entrance arch. The temple is decorated with sculptures of the gods, including Mazo, the goddess of the sea, and the nine gods of the emperor.
The Tao Bo Kong Temple is famous for its association with the goddess of the sea, who is said to have saved countless sailors from the perils of the ocean.
Thus, the temple becomes a place of pilgrimage for lovers who come to offer prayers and make offerings to the gods. During the annual Nine Emperor Gods Festival, the temple is teeming with lovers, who adhere to strict vegetarian diets and engage in detailed rituals to obtain the blessings of the Emperor’s Nine Goddesses. The festival is a sight worth seeing, with colorful processions, firecrackers and cultural performances.
For those seeking to experience Malaysia’s history, culture, architecture and legend. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this hidden gem and the spiritual atmosphere
Best Scallops in Town 🔥
My friend and I randomly came across this restaurant on explore last week and we decided to give it a try after looking at their social media post.
We already tried few japanese restaurants before this but all I can say, this is on top of all. One of the best one we've tried. Ithink they're underrated because of the location, but the food is really good especially those flaming scallops 🥹
The restaurant is kinda in dark vibes and theres not many people, so its really nice to dine in. They cook ours infront of us. The price is a bit pricey than others sushi place but everything was so good. Its premium and worth it. I will definitely comeback for that scallops.

Sephora is a big chain of personal beauty and skincare expert and they carry many cosmetics brands and have stores in many countries. It is the best place to look for your beauty needs. This year they have setup the Christmas decorations right outside Fahrenheit88. A golden spot in taking photo along Bukit Bintang with Pavillion KL shopping center as the backdrop.

🇲🇾 The Westin KL Lobby
The Westin Lobby is so busy and there are so many cars parked outside too. Even with valet service, the front lobby parking is always crowded. The only time when it is less crowded will be in the early morning. The Westin KL is situated along Bukit Bintang and this road is always congested. I also see many travel groups staying here so there are many big tour buses and medium travel vans too. You might have to queue to check in if you clash with these travel groups at the lobby. But you can book a club room and proceed to level 3 for direct check in.

Camera Gallery 📷
Impromptu visit to vintage camera museum that my friends and I found around Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
This little museum is hidden in a boutique hotel right in the middle of the city. It's a cute place, surprisingly its so nice to chill here because they also have a lobby for you to sit with friends.
The place is not too big, but it have few cute spots for your instagram worthy photos. I would recommend for this because its also free-entry.

🇲🇾 Enjoying Sauna facilities
There is no spa at The Westin KL but you can re-create a spa lounge experience here. The shower and changing facilities is well-quipped here. This area is near the praying rooms so I will suggest you to wear moderately and keep your volume down. At the shower and changing area, there is a hot sauna for guests to use. You can have a workout at the gym then go for a swim at the pool before coming to use the sauna and shower facilities. This place is under-utilized so it is great for users to use.

Skybar in KL | Blue at EQ 🇱🇷
#kualalumpur
My friends and I had a fun evening here at Sky51 for our casual drink. We booked online for the outdoor table at 5.30pm, but we came at 8.30pm instead. I'm glad the hostess was still able to accommodate a table for us in the blue room, and we ended up loving her. They have a selection of flowers available for purchase at the front desk. If you forgot to bring a flower on your next date, don't worry, they've covered you.
They personally sent me a confirmation text message and told me all kinds of arrangements they could make to make our night special. First-class service by all employees, they are very welcoming and do not rule, especially Simon, who patiently accommodates our requests. He is very friendly and attentive, and he even suggested to us take pictures in the best place and asked his colleague to help us with the pictures as well. They have the best views of both Kuala Tower for Lamp and KLCC, a decent selection of drinks and small snacks and they have beautiful live music too. I will definitely be back next time you are in town.
Fabulous place, great people. Thank you Boy, Iqbal, Shelyn and team. My friend and l had a blast!

🇱🇷 Batu Caves, Malaysia 🛕
#kualalumpur
Booked this tour bc I heard a lot about the beautiful Hindu temples at Batu caves so I was really excited to see it was so cheaply priced (~13 USD). Simon was my tour guide and picked me up from my hotel which was very convenient. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He forewarned us that there were two stops on the tour that people didn't like so I was prepared. The first stop is to Royal Selangor which is a pewter factory in the city. Definitely not the 'countryside' as the tour title states but pretty interesting nonetheless. Our second stop was at a hand-painted shop where they made scarves and other fashion items (i.e. shirts, paintings, etc.). Again, not a
'countryside' activity but I was going along for the ride. Finally got to the caves about 90 to 100 minutes in to the tour and we spent about an hour there. Very beautiful temple and caves! Dress comfortably bc the hike up the steps, if you want to go to the top, isn't easy but it's worth it in my opinion.
Also be cautious around the monkeys.
They will steal things out of your hand if you're not paying attention. Finally, keep in mind it is a temple so it's necessary to be respectful when going to the various parts such as taking off your shoes in certain areas or talking with a soft voice. Our guide was great, as I mentioned before, but a little tough to understand at times due to his accent but I could make out what he said for the most part. Overall, a good tour.
Really pleasant 3 hour visit. Good company to go with; reasonably priced; and interesting guides. Can thoroughly recommend Raja as a guide.
🇱🇷 Sea Horizon Resort 🏝️🏚️
#kualalumpur
We (two adults, two children under the age of 13) stayed for two nights in the Sea View Suite directly in front of and below the dining area. The view has been unblocked and really worth it. You can sit outside the room and watch the sunrise, which was great. The food from the resort restaurant was really good (and reasonably priced), but be careful eating in the dining area after sunset as there were a lot of mosquitoes when we did it on the first day! The room was fine, the air conditioner was cold; one of the issues was not having enough power outlets and chairs. Rattan and bamboo walls and roof coverings (and also flooring) could be used for renovation soon. We enjoyed the pools, and it was really relaxing for us because it was just a few steps. I also went down to the rocky beach a few times; I found some really huge hermit crabs and other wildlife. Also, I did one of the rope crossings over the pond, but the children gave her a miss (because it seemed kind of difficult for them). One of the nice activities my wife and daughter did was to make the local fish "Kerobock"; "Kerobock" was not bad but very hot.
We also tried flying the kite in the field in the evening (but we didn’t succeed much because the wind was erratic). Overall, it was a nice and memorable stay; the view of the sea and the site may bring us back in the future, and I am really writing this review in the hope that the new administration will continue to improve the place. Another thing is that the staff we came across from the beginning (reservation inquiry) were all friendly, helpful and provided very good service, which contributed to the pleasant stay.
Tip: Sea View Suite has an unbanned view of the South China Sea
