Some beautiful moments in Budapest
#thingstodo
Budapest is the capital of Hungary and this city is located across the Danube river. Recently trip to Budapest, I have captured some of the spectacular moments inside the city area. Firstly , you can easily take the tram to anywhere in the city and you have to get on the tram and explore once ! Secondly , the parliament is spectacular with the shape outside and it is an iconic building in Budapest. Thirdly, the fisherman’s bastion is another iconic place you have to visit. The white colour buildings and the sunlight made the view become more gorgeous and I really liked there. At the end of the day, the Elisabeth bridge is incredible design and connect both side of the city area.

Budapest beautiful city in Hungary 🇭🇺
#thingstodo
Budapest is one of my favourite city in Europe . The reason is simple as this place is really beautiful and the architecture of the buildings captured my attention a lot. Firstly, the Hungarian National museum is amazing , this place located in the Buda castle and I really liked the design of the buildings. Furthermore, you can see the whole Buda castle opposite side to the river and the view is spectacular with the little princess statue. Lastly, the St’s Stephen Basilica is another signature building in Budapest. The shape and the structure are fascinating and it impressed me a lot to explore more!

Last year February, I have been one of the cheapest country in Europe and that is Hungary. The capital of Hungary is Budapest and I really loved being in there and had a sightseeing.
I have been the Matthias Church and I will say the building outside is very impressive with the special shape and the main colour is bright white. In there, I could see a really stunning view above the city centre and they look really cool!

Budapest is one of my favourite country in the Eastern Europe so far. This is because the building are impressive and the transport system is really convenient. In my last year visit to Budapest, overall I felt the city was very safe, and really fun to get around the city.
The Budapest parliament is a spectacular building with the river reflection. I will say that is the best picture I have captured in that trip. Hopefully in the next holiday I am able to travel to there again and visit !

Is Budapest Suitable for Solo Travelling?
European Journey, Day 2: Immersed in the Romance of the Danube River.
Back in my childhood, it was the song 'Blue Danube' that introduced me to the allure of the Danube River. George Ezra's 'Budapest' beckoned me to this city, and the movie 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' firmly placed it on my travel bucket list.
However, upon arrival, I discovered that the Danube isn't actually blue, George Ezra never set foot in Budapest, and the Grand Hotel scenes had no connection to the city itself.
My travel timing couldn't have been better, coinciding with Hungary's 150th anniversary of independence, making it one of the liveliest times to visit. Just as Tomorrowland had wrapped up in Belgium, Sziget Island was hosting its own carnival here, infusing this historically rich city with the vibrancy of summer.
As I boarded the 100E 🚌 bus from the airport to the city center, I could hardly believe I was fulfilling a dream I had ten years ago.
Despite the bus screen displaying the route, I managed to miss my stop due to forgetting the station names, enduring an hour-long trek under the scorching 30-degree sun, lugging my backpack and luggage. European cobblestone streets are quite challenging, and I had to navigate them in a foreign land while keeping an eye out for pickpockets. Fortunately, a kind stranger helped me with my luggage and directed me to the right location.
⚠️ I was staying in the Blaha area, known for it’s ‘safety’, all because it's close to the New York Café 😂
Here are some precautions I've been taking during my stay:
It's essential to stay vigilant because every city has its share of bad actors.
1️⃣ Self-defense: Avoid walking alone at night, stay away from desolate streets, and return to your accommodation early. There are many bars near my hotel, and occasional approaches happen, but ignoring them does the trick.
2️⃣ Homeless individuals: They're generally quite friendly
3️⃣ Dressing modestly: 💰 I wear a money belt under my clothes for added security. When going out, I carry only a canvas bag filled with tissues. This student-like appearance probably discourages potential thieves😅
4️⃣ Sightseeing: 📷 You still want those photos! Since it's a public account, I noticed many strangers viewing and tracking my activities after check-ins. So, from that day onwards, I only share with close friends or post updates with a delay, avoiding disclosing my whereabouts.
5️⃣ Selfie stick: My photographer, and a self defence tools too!
6️⃣ Ticketing at subway stations: Use BudapestGo to buy tickets and avoid fines

Experiencing Europe solo as female traveler💙
Avicii's 'The Nights' lyrics have always been my life motto: 'One day you'll leave this world behind, so leave a life you will remember.'
Backpacking through Europe has always been my dream. So, I started researching a year ago - from choosing suitable countries, planning my itinerary, annual leaves, figuring out transportation, accommodations, medicines, anti-theft measures, weather-appropriate clothing, and packing techniques. I also put effort into dressing for fluctuating temperatures (from 5°C to 46°C).
This seemingly unattainable dream slowly became a reality, step by step.
Finally, it has come to an end after a month-long journey! Now, I'll share with you the fascinating, thrilling, and enjoyable experiences of my solo travel. This has been a life-changing experience for me. If you are contemplating going on a solo adventure, stay tuned for my stories.
5 countries within 30 days:
Budapest: 4 days | Austria: 7 days | Iceland: Around the Island (group tour): 10 days | Copenhagen: 8 days | Dubai: 2 days
I would say this itinerary is a pretty comfortable, chill and relaxing one.
I originally planned my itinerary to '12 countries', given all these countries are just next to each other, I was in a dilemma to choose among all of them!
Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates.
However, considering various factors - including body condition, luggage, personal preferences, I opted for the first route.
Stay tune for more of my stories, including my experience, expenses, preparation and itineraries for this trip! #awesomepic #awesomepic #solo #solotravel #Iceland #Copenhagen #Budapest #love #丹麦 #冰岛 #photo #Malaysian #timetotravel #trip #tripcom
