Isle of Skye (Scotland)

Had one of the best scenery during my trip to Scotland and England back in April 2023. We landed in Edinburgh, rented a car, drove to Inverness, Portree, Glasgow, then ended at Manchester UK for our MBA workshop. Manchester Science Museum

The Science and Industry Museum is one of the few museums I remember well from childhood. It hasn’t massively changed in terms of the industrial elements on display (Victorian to 1900s) and that’s the beauty of this museum. Displayed across the street (currently under reconstruction) are the various planes and trains used across Manchester in history. Level 2 of the main building gives you the opportunity to engage with fun hands on experiences and experiments. #freehotelstay I recently travelled to Manchester for a long weekend and wanted to share my experience. I flew into Manchester through the main international airport and used the train to get to the city centre and stayed near the main train station (Piccadilly). There are lots of different accommodation options, ranging from hotels and hostels to apartments which is very popular. There are lots of different attractions including shopping, visiting the football clubs or the many different museums. There are also a range of different eateries too. A fantastic trip to Manchester

Getting There- We took the train to Manchester from Leeds at 7:15 a.m. The train was direct and had calling at some station. The free WIFI in the train was connectableb and very fast. Attractions - We want recommend the Football Museum, located near Victoria station. Food & Restaurants - We did find the Manchester Jianbing, which was a street vendor. There were so many different flavors and fillings for us to make a choice from. The food was so tasteful.#manchester

Dream do come true in the theatre of dreams

Went for a FA cup match day against West Ham united. Bought the Red Cafe hospitality package with 3 course meals and unlimited beverages including alcohol for £195. Food was great as well as seat in the Sir Alex Ferguson stand. After the match went to Stretford end to wait for player to come out of Old Trafford. It’s a good time to get your favourite player signature. Book for a stadium & museum tour with lunch the next day. Ticket without lunch was £27.5 and additional £10 with lunch. Lunch provided was filling and come with a soft drink or coffee or tea. Worth the experience for Manchester United fan to visit. Tip: 1) recommended to stay at Hotel football located just beside Old Trafford and it’s open by class of 92. A Marriott Bonvoy hotel group as well. 2) Recommended to get your United membership before the season start if you doesn’t want to get hospitality package tickets. As membership do sell out. 📍Address - The Corn Exchange, 37 Hanging Ditch, Manchester M4 3TR ✨ Ambiance/Facilities - Ambiance was really nice. The restaurant was quite spacious unlike some other popular restaurants. I loved the dim lighting. ⚡️ Highlights - Vietnamese noodle soup was delicious and a must try! I did not like the fried rice that much so you may skip that one. 💲 Avg. Trafford Centre - Beautiful Shopping centre

If you're looking for a shopping destination that has it all, look no further than Manchester's Trafford Centre. Manchester's Trafford Centre is the largest shopping centre and leisure complex in North West England. Over 200 shops, restaurants, and attractions attract more than 30 million customers each year. The centre boasts almost two million square feet of floor space. It is divided into several areas. The main shopping areas are Regent Crescent, Peel Avenue, and The Dome. This massive mall offers something for everyone, from high-end fashion brands to popular chain stores for example Tommy Hilfiger, Tessuti, Swarovski and alot more. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants such as Nandos, KFC, Five guys. There is alot of entertainment options to keep you busy when you need a break from shopping. We visited the arcade which was a ton of fun and very big. Name: John Rylands Library Located in the city center (Deangate St.) When you see the title of this post and you might feel “going to a library during travels?”, but thank you very much for clicking my post to read captions. I felt the exactly the same thing when I checked the recommended places list of Manchester. However, it’s worth to go there! It was supposed to use as a church but people started to use this place as a library. So, the building looks like a church. #manchester #library #church

#celebratewithtrip 📍 Getting There - This huge Christmas market is situated right in the Manchester city centre, which is easily accessible by bus, tram, train, etc. Manchester is one of the largest cities in the United Kingdom. 🛍️ Shopping - There are lots of shops with a variety of products ranging from food, clothing, accessories, decorations to almost anything. People from all over the UK came here to open there shops for this event. 🍴 Food & Restaurants - Food and drinks are one of the main attractions at least for me 😁. You will get tons of options starting from burgers, fries to German sausage rolls to Indian chicken tikka to Dutch pancakes. Loved the decorations during Halloween time when we visited. 🍴Food- We really enjoyed the food and drinks. We ordered burritos, burgers, fries and cocktails ( Pina Colada and Mojito). One of the most interesting things was the Pina Colada tiki glass. I absolutely loved it. 💲Avg. Address - There are two branches of Federal Cafe Bar in Manchester as mentioned below. I have been to the Northern Quarter branch. Northern Quarter: Federal Cafe Bar 9 Nicholas Croft Deansgate: Federal Cafe Bar 194 Deansgate Ambiance/Food - It is worth mentioning that they have the best egg dishes in Manchester and are quite famous for that. There are some pros and cons as listed below. All of these are based on NQ branch only. Pros: - Food was delicious. I tried - french toast, egg benedict with avocados and halloumi, Turkish egg, iced latte - Quick serve, don't need to wait for long for the food to arrive - Very clean. Even during rush hours staff thoroughly clean the tables which is rare for some cafes - Outdoor sitting options available Cons: - Long queues on weekends (though it's common for most, but this one is a bit longer cause the cafe is smaller) - Sitting arrangement is a bit too clumsy for my liking. Not scattered enough, but again that's personal preference - Tables are too small which makes it inconvenient to eat or drink. Highlights - Egg benedict and French toast are must try. The library is beautiful. It’s free to enter but do keep your voice down. We came here during a free Manchester city tour and was explained everything about the library. If you are Harry Porter’s fan, you can come here and imagine yourself in Hogwarts. The architecture of the library is beautiful. It was built in 1890. Do come and explore those small corner of reading area. Here you’ll find some of the rarest and most beautiful books in Britain including the oldest existing piece of the New Testament and a first edition of Shakespeare’s Sonnets.
