🇻🇳 Golden Hands Bridge @ Da Nang
A visit to Da Nang is not complete without visiting the Golden Bridge which is located on Ba Na Hills about 30 km from Da Nang city. The Golden Bridge, or some called it the Golden Hands Bridge, has become an iconic landmark in Vietnam since its completion in 2018. It is a pedestrian bridge featuring two giant hands that appear to be holding it up. Standing at the height of 1414 m above the sea level, the bridge plays an important role in connecting the cable car station and La Jardin D’Amour Gardens. The 150-m long bridge also offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes.

Finding Peace in Queenstown, New Zealand ☮️
Looking for a serene escape, why not check out Queenstown? Nestled amongst the mountains on New Zealand’s South Island, the small town offers peace and tranquility. ☮️
The town itself offers a lot for for visitors. There’s countless restaurants, bars, and ice cream stores. It’s always a good option to get a takeout and bring it to the small beach by the by the lake to watch the sunset. Fergburger is a popular joint downtown where you can get delicious burgers. 🍔 Or why not check out Cookie Time for a mouthwatering ice cream cookie sandwich? 🍪 🍦
Besides countless walking trails around Queenstown, you can also take the gondola up the mountain for insane views of the lake and mountains. While up there, adrenaline junkies should checkout the luge! 🏔️
Travel a bit further afield by taking the city bus to Arrowtown for $2. Arrowtown is just 20 minutes away but it gets even more chill that Queenstown. It’s an old mining town and it has such a cool vibe. There are numerous walking and hiking trails. If you want breathtaking views, check out the Sawpit Gully hike. Or if river views are more for you, head out on the shorter arrowtown river walk. If you’re feeling hungry after all that hiking, head to the Arrowtown Bakery and Cafe for some really good pies and sandwiches! 🥧
Queenstown has some nice hotels to choose from but I chose to stay in the La Quinta in Frankton. It offered peace and quite away from the town. It was also very close to the Queenstown walking trail which takes you to Queenstown by the lake offering stunning scenery. 🏨
So if you’re looking for peace and serenity, then Queenstown is definitely the place for you! 💯

🇨🇭 Skyline & Thrill Walk @ Birg
Located 2677 metres above sea level, Birg is one of the intermediate cable car stations from Stechelberg to Schilthorn, one of the summits in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. Often missed by most visitors who head straight to the summit, Birg is actually the starting point for hikes and the centre of the skiing area for all levels. If you are a thrill seeker like me, you definitely should not miss the Skyline Walk and Thrill Walk in Birg.
The Skyline Walk starts from the sun terrace at Birg. Walk further out and you will be at the observation deck which is an extension of the terrace constructed from steel and reinforced glass with a grated floor. It is a great vantage point to enjoy the alpine scenery.
Those who are physically fit and not afraid of heights can head to the entrance to the Thrill Walk which is at the other side of Skyline Walk. The Thrill Walk involves climbing stairs which lead down into the perpendicular walls of the imposing rock massif. The 200-m walk also features a crawl-through tunnel, glass-bottomed floor and tightrope walking. Don't worry about safety, there is a steel net below the tightrope. 😆
Admission to the Thrill Walk is free of charge.

Mount Cook National Park Day Trip 📸
One of the best trips I took whilst in New Zealand was a day trip to Mount Cook National Park. To be honest, a day really isn’t enough for this beautiful place but unfortunately I was under time constraints! ⏰
I was based in Christchurch which is about a 4 hour drive from Mount Cook. You can rent a car and drive yourself or take one of the many tours leaving the city. If you’re taking a tour be sure to book it early as they sell out fast! I decided to go with Cheeky Kea which was pretty decent. 🚌
Itinerary:
1️⃣ Lake Tekapo - This is the first of two lakes you’ll pass by on the way to Mount Cook. It’s a pretty nice stop and the church is one of the most photographed buildings in New Zealand. To be honest, I preferred Lake Pukaki as it had less tourists.
2️⃣ Lake Pukaki - This is the second lake you’ll stop at and it was amazing. The clouds cleared so I could see Mount Cook and the water was so blue! One of the most beautiful lakes I’ve seen.
3️⃣ Mount Cook Hooker Valley walking track - There are numerous walks you can do but if you’re stuck for time I would recommend this one. They suggest it takes about 3 hours to complete but I managed it in 2 along with several photo stops. It’s not a loop so you will have to return the way you came. Keep going until you reach the end as the views of the lake and the ice are incredible! 🏔️

🇨🇭 007 Walk of Fame @ Schilthorn
Piz Gloria at the summit of Schilthorn got its name from a James Bond novel and is well known as the film location for the 1969 Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". In addition to Spy World museum, a new and larger exhibition, called "007 Walk of Fame", was opened in July 2015 on the Schilthorn ridge to pay tribute to the cast and behind-the-scenes contributors to the iconic James Bond movie. The Walk of Fame consists of 15 information panels featuring George Lazenby, who played James Bond in the film, and members of the film crew. Each panel features a photo, signature, handprint in steel and a personal message. Walking on the ridge was quite a challenge especially during winter due to the strong wind and heavy snow. It's definitely worth a walk nonetheless as the ridge is an excellent vantage point for taking in the spectacular alpine scenery.

After a long 2.5-hour journey to the Schilthorn summit from Interlaken train station, we were greeted by spectacular alpine scenery straight out of postcards. At the summit, Piz Gloria stands 2,970 metres above sea level surrounded by more than 200 alpine peaks. Walk out of the building to Skyline View platform, which is an outdoor observation deck that provides a 360-degree view of the Swiss Alps. It's an excellent vantage point for taking in the stunning landscapes of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. On clear days, you can even see as far as the Black Forest in Germany or the Mont Blanc massif in France!

Lucerne is a city in central Switzerland located on the shore of Lake Lucerne. Even if you only have a few hours in Lucerne, it's enough to explore its old town as it is compact and can be easily explored on foot. Lucerne's charming and well-preserved old town is rich in history and offers a picturesque setting along the shores of Lake Lucerne. Starting from Lucerne train station, walk along the waterfront towards Chapel Bridge, a 14th century wooden bridge which is also one of Lucerne's most iconic landmarks. Take a stroll across Chapel Bridge and you will reach the other side of the old town. You can continue walking uphill towards the Musegg Wall, a well-preserved medieval city wall with nine towers. Fengguoshan Watefalls - Hainan
Fengguoshan fengguoahan or 枫果山瀑布 are located in Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park in Hainan.
The park is vast, peaceful and beautiful, with numerous waterfalls, lush greenery and natural wonders.
I recommend exploring the area by car as visiting on foot in a single day is impossible. We went by car, driving many kilometres to reach various places but it was absolutely worth it.
The admission fee for foreigners is 70¥. A passport or a photo of the passport is required for registration, so keep that in mind.

Charming village with fantastic scenery
Come and experience the magical sunrise view of thick solemn mist covering the lake like a weighty woolen blanket slowly wafted upwards into the morning air.
Ban Rak Thai is a small highland village nestled in the lush backcountry of Mae Hong Son province in Northern Thailand. It is set in a valley surrounded by hills and tea plantations on the edge of a reservoir with cool and fresh air year round. This sleepy village is famous for its breathtaking views and tea cultivation. Because of its remote location, the village is still little known to tourists, so calm and peaceful. Perfect vacation to recharge.
Historically Ban Rak Thai is a Thai-Chinese village founded by former Kuo Min Tang soldiers who migrated from Yunnan Province, China, after the Communist takeover of China. Today the place is still heavily influenced by the old Chinese. There are many signs in Chinese, buildings are Chinese-style and much of the population speaks a heavily accented version of Mandarin Chinese.

Blue Moon Valley, or "Shangri-La Blue Moon Valley" as it's sometimes called, is located in the Yulong Snow Mountain Nature Reserve near Lijiang. The valley is famous for its glacier-fed lakes and rivers, which have a striking blue color. The Naxi people have a unique culture and language, and they worship the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as a sacred place. According to the legend, when two Naxi youngsters fall in love, the boy will be tested by standing barefoot in the freezing water of the Blue Moon Valley in winter, in order to show his love to the girl. People believe that this tested love will last forever witnessed by the holy snow mountain.

Changing seasons in the Lakes 🍂🏞
Scaling some scree, and striding up squigley paths to the Catbells summit (1,480ft) was how our first fall day trip in the UK Lakes was spent- taking a little over an hour to reach the peak of the mountain.🧭
With only 3 hours until the train home, we weren't sure if we would have time... But it was well worth it, and actually with views like this, missing a train home wouldn't be the worst thing in the world... 😍⛰️

Nature's Citadel: A Tranquil Day at Owler Tor
#mountainview #Nature #Autumn In the heart of the Peak District, I embarked on a soul-nurturing expedition to Owler Tor, a timeless sanctuary of ancient rocks and panoramic vistas. This natural citadel, weathered by centuries of wind and rain, invited me to ascend its heights and immerse myself in the sublime beauty of the surrounding wilderness.
Beginning the hike, the earthy aroma of the moorland and the distant calls of birds surrounded me as I ventured deeper into the Peak District's embrace. The trail, bordered by wildflowers and rugged terrain, led me on a path of discovery, promising not just a physical ascent but a spiritual communion with nature.
Upon reaching Owler Tor, I was greeted by a scene of ethereal beauty. The tor, with its weathered stone formations, stood sentinel against the canvas of the sky. Scaling its ancient sides, I found myself atop a natural throne, with the world unfolding below me in a breathtaking panorama.
The view from Owler Tor was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Rolling hills, adorned with heather and moss, stretched endlessly into the distance. The tranquil waters of Ladybower Reservoir glimmered in the sunlight, reflecting the azure sky above. The distant peaks of the Dark Peak loomed mysteriously, their silhouettes adding an air of grandeur to the landscape.
Perched on Owler Tor, I felt a profound sense of serenity. The rustle of leaves and the distant murmur of streams provided a melodic backdrop to the tranquility. Time seemed to stand still as I gazed at the undulating hills, a moment of quiet introspection amidst the grandeur of nature.
Exploring the tor's intricate formations, I marveled at the ancient stones adorned with lichens and mosses. Nature's artistry, in shades of green and gold, added to the tor's mystique. I found a secluded nook, a perfect alcove to absorb the harmonious energy that permeated the summit.
As the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden hue upon the landscape, I marveled at the interplay of light and shadow. The tor seemed to come alive, its contours accentuated by the fading sunlight, a testament to the enduring spirit of the natural world.

Nature's Canvas: A Tranquil Day at Lancaster
#mountainview #Park #草原
In the heart of Lancaster, I embarked on a serene retreat amidst the natural splendor of Williamson Park. This verdant oasis, cradled within the city's embrace, promised a day of tranquility, scenic beauty, and a deep connection with nature.
Entering the park, I was immediately greeted by a tapestry of colors. Blooming flowers painted the landscape in vibrant hues, their delicate petals swaying in harmony with the gentle breeze. Towering trees formed a canopy, casting dappled shadows on the winding pathways, inviting leisurely strolls and moments of quiet contemplation.
The park's crown jewel, the Ashton Memorial, stood proudly against the sky. Its elegant architecture, reminiscent of a bygone era, commanded attention. Climbing to the top, I was rewarded with a panoramic view of Lancaster and the rolling hills beyond. The city's red-brick buildings melded seamlessly with the lush greenery, creating a picturesque tableau that seemed lifted from a painting.
Descending from the memorial, I ventured deeper into the park's enchanting gardens. The scent of blooming roses perfumed the air, and the soft hum of bees provided a soothing melody. It was a haven for wildlife, with birds flitting between branches and squirrels darting playfully among the trees—a harmonious ecosystem thriving within the park's embrace.
At the heart of the park, I discovered the tranquil butterfly house. Stepping inside, I found myself surrounded by a kaleidoscope of fluttering wings. Vibrant butterflies, with patterns as intricate as stained glass, danced around me, their delicate presence adding to the park's enchantment.
I found solace beside the park's serene lake. The water mirrored the azure sky, creating a mirror-like surface that reflected the surrounding beauty. Ducks glided gracefully across the water, creating ripples that seemed to echo the park's tranquility.
As the day drew to a close, I found a peaceful spot beneath a centuries-old tree. The rustling leaves whispered stories of time immemorial, and the fading sunlight cast a warm, golden glow upon the grass. It was a moment of quiet introspection, a chance to appreciate the natural wonders that surrounded me.
Leaving Williamson Park, I carried with me not just the memories of its scenic beauty but a profound sense of rejuvenation. The park had not only provided a respite from the bustle of everyday life but had also offered a glimpse into the timeless harmony of
A Day in the Shadows of Lancaster Castle
#History #Castle #mountainview In the heart of Lancaster, I embarked on a captivating journey through time within the formidable walls of Lancaster Castle. This historical marvel, shrouded in centuries-old secrets, promised a day of exploration and a glimpse into the annals of England's past.
Approaching the castle, its medieval architecture rose proudly against the sky, casting a solemn silhouette over the city. The heavy oak doors, weathered by time, opened to reveal a world steeped in history. As I stepped inside, I felt the weight of centuries pressing down, a palpable reminder of the countless stories that had unfolded within these stone walls.
My footsteps echoed in the narrow corridors as I wandered through the castle's labyrinthine chambers. Each room seemed to breathe with the spirits of its former inhabitants. In the courtroom, I could almost hear the echoes of judgments rendered, the clinking of shackles, and the fervent pleas of the accused. The dungeons whispered tales of confinement and despair, a stark contrast to the opulence of the state rooms.
The castle's rich history came to life through guided tours, where knowledgeable storytellers painted vivid pictures of past events. I learned about the trials and tribulations of the Pendle Witches, whose presence seemed to linger in the air. The castle's role as a symbol of power and authority became evident as I stood in the well-preserved courtroom, where justice, at times, had been harsh and unforgiving.
Ascending to the rooftop, I was rewarded with a panoramic view of Lancaster and the surrounding countryside. The vista, bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun, revealed the castle's strategic significance in times of war and peace. The distant hills and the meandering River Lune added to the picturesque tableau, painting a scene that seemed frozen in time.
Leaving Lancaster Castle, I carried with me not just the memories of its ancient stones but a profound sense of connection to the generations that had walked these halls before me. It was more than a visit; it was a pilgrimage into the heart of history, a day spent in the company of ghosts and echoes, reminding me of the enduring legacy of Lancaster Castle and the stories etched into its very soul.

Sky Plaza is located in Natividad a small town of Pangasinan. This ecotourism destination is located atop a hill in Brgy. Batchelor East. This is popular for pilgrims and nature lovers. The park features grotto of the Virgin Mary, a 30-foot Holy Cross and a 40-foot statue of Christ Redeemer or locals call it "Ayat ni Apo Jesus" or God's Love Statue. As we are not into hiking much, we weren't able to reach where the holy cross and the statue of Christ are. As we were riding up, it was sunny and it suddenly changed into dark clouds. We wanted to enjoy the view more and ride more but we decided not to do it as we were afraid to get caught by the rain and the place is prone to landslide so we were kind of anxious. It's much better to come here during Summer so you don't need to worry about landslides or whatsoever. We would like to come back here again. And take note you don't need to pay for anything here.
