Elephant Trunk Hill Park is a lovely place to visit even on a wetter day. The park meanders around much of the lake, and while it can be very busy in places, it is not hard to find peace and quiet. The views from the top are fantastic, and the views of the main rock from across the lake are lovely. The most peaceful and beautiful town I’ve ever been “The Grindelwald, Switzerland. I went to that town from Zurich by bus. Then buy tickets at the Mount First cable car station. You can also buy from online. if you want to do the activity like paragliding, mountain cart, trrotibike, ice flyer, mountain bicycling, you should book it online ahead. otherwise they will sold out fast. I would like to recommend to stay at least 1 night to do the activity at there. There are many hotel and hostel options at Grindelwald. Then you can also visit to the Interlaken by train. it’s just 30 mins ride. You can also shop Swiss made watches and chocolate at Interlaken. Most memorable trip for me and would like to recommend for you. #switzerland

Huating Lake Scenic Area (Entrance Fee: 50 RMB) is one of the tourist spots you must visit when going to Taihu County, Anqing, Anhui, China. You can walk around and be mesmerised by its natural beauty. You can take a ferry boat (15 RMB). There, you can feel relaxed and enjoy the calmness of this county.
Note: Wear comfortable shoes for walking around and up and down. In summer, there will be a lot of mosquitoes, so be prepared with repellent spray or lotion.

Getting There - A two-hour bus ride from Dumaguete City to Mabinay will take you. In the center of the town, a tricycle can take you straight to the resort. But you can also inform the bus driver to drop you in the junction that will lead you to Tirambulo High Resort. I heard from my aunts this resort is temporarily closed. We were riding our motorbike and found this place. It would take 5 minutes on foot from the main road and you'll see this beautiful lake on the left. It is just across from the school. I bet students come here to chill but that time we visited the school year hasn't started yet so we kinda own the place by ourselves. The scenery is absolutely amazing and it's quite. It's good to have a picnic here and have some cold beer.
Attractions - The beautiful lake itself with the mountain view.
Hotels - For hotels you can find one in Mabinay or in Paniabonan.
Food & Restaurants - I recommend bring your own food and enjoy the place.
Shopping - There are markets nearby or supermarkets where you can get some food and drinks.

Sevan: Navy Blue Water Lake
Where: Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik, Armenia
This lake is absolutely clear and transparent. In Summer it looks like navy blue. Surrounded by mountains it has a perfect view to the horizon. There are public and private beaches where you can swim. If you want less crowded area then better go to Shorzha area.
I enjoyed staying in the tent by the beach listening to the sound of waves and looking at the start sky.

Madiwala Lake also known as BTM Lake, is one of the biggest lakes in Bengaluru.
It spreads across a major area of the city.
Good thing is that you can do pedal boating here at just 50 INR /pp for half an hour.
I'd recommend not to visit during weekends and holidays as it's crowded.
There's parking available and entry fees cost 10INR/pp.
Perfect for a peaceful evening doing boating.

A Must Go To Lake in Xichang🇨🇳

We went to Xichang for a company retreat and we were given 1 day to just explore the place. We didn't intend to come to this beautiful place but we stumbled upon it and we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing walk especially feeling the breeze coming from the lake. You can also rent a bike if you are not fond of walking . We did both because there are some areas that bikes aren't allowed. There are many placea for you to eat in around the lake so it is very convenient.
We walked quite far from the main scenic area so there weren't a lot of tourists around us. If you like to admire the beauty of nature alon and without a lot of people around then I suggest not to linger in the main scenic spot.

A Great Place to Hang Around 🏴

What a place! Located inside Hyde park The Serpentine adds character to the park. This is because it emits peace and joy while you sit on the bench feel thw breeze an just watch the ducks and swans swimming in it. There are so many people who just hang about around the lake and relax. As tourisys of course we walked around the entire lake while taking pictures. There are a few options of cafes and bars around it so it is pretty easy to grab something to drink and eat. If you want to go boating then they are also available for you to enjoy.
Tickets for the boat ride: 12 pounds per person for an hour.
Opening time: 10 am to 8 pm in the summer but they close earlier in winter, autumn and spring

Lake Issyk Kul, the 2nd largest saline lake
Issyk-Kul is the seventh-deepest lake in the world, the tenth-largest lake in the world by volume and the second-largest saline lake after the Caspian Sea.
There’s a lot of town surrounding it, we choose and went Bokonbayevo, where we can swim and watching eagle hunt demonstration.
Eagle hunting is a tradition in Kyrgyz, the hunting season will be on winter, spring and summer is the time for the wild animal to have babies. Stunning Detian Falls and Mountain Stroll
Located in Shuolong Town，Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Detian Waterfall originates from the Guichun River which passes Vietnam and winds back Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. When the Guichun River arriving at the bluff in Detian Village, Daxin County, then the Detian Waterfall formed. Up on the about 200-meter wide bluff, the waterfall pours down with the drop of 70 meters.
I travelled from Mingshi, the road was terrible, not even a road. The falls were stunning from every angle. The higher you go on the mountain walk the more amazing the view becomes. There is some delicious Vietnamese noodles and coffee available after the falls. There is also a fun escalator and a slide to get to the exit. When you get near the falls on the boat trip, the spray causes a rainbow to form, very beautiful.

Mugecuo Lake Scenic Area, Kangding 🇨🇳
What a stunning sight to behold. After an hour drive from Kangding center to its entrance and another 30 minutes bus ride to the top we reached one of Kangding's treasue - The Mugecuo Lake. It sits in an altitude of almost 4000m above sea level so coming here was a bit of a struggle for me especially when we reached the top.
Getting There - I suggest to speak to your hostel/hotel to book you a car to the entrace of Mugecuo lake. No worries because, you will be booked for a return journey so you don't have to book another car that will take you back to your hotel. For the round trip cost, you will oay around 159-200.
Entrance Fee+Bus ride : 200 per person
‼️TIPS and Warnings
1. DO not come to this place on the same day or the next day upon arrival in Kangding. Acclimitize yourself first in the city then head up. If you're under the weather like me and you don't exercise then the altitude sickness will really strike you. If you're healthy then probably you will be ok. Just listen to your body.
2. Headache, dizziness, fast heartbeat and wanting to puke are signs of altitude sickness
3. Purchase an oxygen bottle
Despite my awful altitude sickness, I still appreciate the beauty that Mugecuo Lake possesses.

A serene resort on a lake in Da Lat
Edensee Resort
A resort on Tuyen Lam lake, about 20 minutes drive from Dalat City. It is beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. They also have different activities you can partake in such as archery and kayaking (for an additional fee of course). The rooms are decent, a bit outdated, but designed in classic European style. What I liked about it was the fireplace because I get really cold easily.
We did have an overall okay experience during the 2 nights we spent there. However, for a so-called 5-star hotel and for the price, it wasn’t that great. The staff are also nice and helpful, but the food could use some improvement. It’s best to rent a bike if you’re planning to stay here so you can freely go to the city.

Mountains, Trees, and endless Waterfalls
This was one of the most beautiful hikes I've been on. You can either choose to hike up or take a sightseeing bus.
The Hiking trail was 9,999 steps. An upwards climb with many beautiful waterfalls along the way. It's about a 2hr hike up then you can take a short cut down which is an hour.
Once you reach the top there's a nice picnic spot to relax with a view of a lake in front of you. Absolutely stunning!
BaiShuiZhai is located in Paitan town in Zeng Cheng district.
If your coming from Tian He in Guangzhou it's about a 2 hr drive. Absolutely worth it. I advise starting early in the morning!

Japan has finally open its door to tourists after a long 2 years pause of travelling. Japan is a place filled with historical rich culture and many natural volcanic lakes and hot pools.
One of which is the Shikotsu Toya National Park located at Minami Ward at Abuta district where firstly the admission is free. Secondly, there are many hiking trails also located in the vicinity of this national park just that you have to endure with the strong sulpuric smell of the volcanic smokes. HUWAII IN CHINA???

this place is just right behind the mall area…. it gives complete huwaii vibes and energy, it has surfing boards, boats, all types of boats…. and at a very low charge of 80 yuan only!😩
I went there by didi, or you can use a metro too and just drop at qiianjiang new century city, you can search for this too on your maps and navigate which metro lines to get on.
just close by are so many beautiful restaurants, breathe taking restaurants that have all types of food, fast food places like kfc too….
the stuff was so friendly and very accommodating, I’d give this place a 10/10. it looks like a complete beach, with boats, surfing, and all those loving stuff we like to do close to water. To add more to that, it’s so reserved, calm, and worth taking your time. this is literally huwaii in china, loved it so much.

Halong bay in China 🙀
Getting There - The place is not of easy access, we hired a driver🚗 and came from Nanning by car, it took around 4 hours but including a stop or around 2 hours in another destination where we had the chance to see the spring goose and rice fields.
Attractions - just take a boat ⛵️and enjoy a ride of a little over or one hour around the lake surround by beautiful mountains everywhere. The best part is that seems to not be very well know yet, therefore we were the only ones in the boat, it felt like a private tour only for us ! 😎
Hotels - we did not stay here, but seems there are some hotels in the lake, anyway I would recommend to go and sleep somewhere else, probably the driver can suggest some good option.
Food & Restaurants - there are not many options so the best is to bring your own or eat before/after the visit.

Libo’s bluish greenish Lakes & waterfalls!
If you ever find yourself going to Guizhou, make sure you check out Libo, a place in the Qiannan area. It is full of so many scenic spots ranging from lakes to mountains to waterfalls, all the natural environments that you can think of. As the locals say, Guizhou you shan you shui, in Chinese: 贵州有山有水，meaning an area rich in natural environments. I had a wonderful time visiting this place and I’m happy to share with you my journey.
We took a private car from the provincial capital Guiyang to Libo, about a 2.5 hour drive. Tickets are below 100 RMB because as a student I got a discount. There are buses once inside which can carry you from one place to the other. All you gotta do is be ready to have fun. Loved Guizhou!!!

Annual Trip to Lake Como
We fell in love with this Y-shaped lake of glacial origin since our first trip here years ago. Since then, it has been our annual holiday destination.
We would fly in to Bergamo Airport, and then take the Italian regional train northwards to Como.
It is a huge lake and you can choose between different towns to set up your base. You can decide on either Bellagio, Varenna or Menaggio. Each has its own allure that will charm and fascinate you differently.

Exploring the quiet but vibrant Tongli,Suzhou
I went on this really amazing photography trip the other day to the quiet town called Tongli. This is located at the far south side of Suzhou. I’ve only been here a couple times but it still felt brand-new to be in this place. There’s so many things to see so many beautiful sites and interesting food and spices and souvenirs so you can get. And every once in a while you see one of the most beautiful sites of the calm and peaceful canal.
