Attractions in Tashkent are a bit far apart, so it's best to take the subway and taxis. 1️⃣ Ascension Cathedral: One of the oldest churches in Tashkent, this complex was built in a classical style and looks like a Russian church. 2️⃣ Tamerlane Square: The center of Tashkent, the city radiates out from here. The statue of Tamerlane in the center of the square is the most majestic of the three Tamerlane statues in Uzbekistan. 3️⃣ National Museum: Known as the largest museum in Central Asia, it has three floors. 4️⃣ Central Asian Pilaf Center: You can arrange to have a meal here. The 3-meter diameter pot is quite impressive. It is said that it can stew 3 tons of pilaf at a time, enough for 1,200 people to eat at the same time. 5️⃣ White Mosque: Built in 2013. It is made of pure white marble and built in a traditional Uzbek style, with two minarets and a sky-blue dome. 6️⃣ Hazrat Imam Complex: The religious center of Uzbekistan. 7️⃣ Chorsu Bazaar: The largest market in Uzbekistan, it has a beautiful large dome and is more down-to-earth than the Green Bazaar in Almaty. 8️⃣ Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre: The designer of this theater also designed the Moscow headquarters building. The fountain and European-style architecture give it an elegant and romantic feel.

Tashkent means 'Stone City' in Turkic languages, and the history of this city can be traced back at least to the Sogdian city-state era (around the time of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties in China). Walking through the city, the streets are wide and lined with green trees, and whether it's the scenery or the pedestrians on the street, it all vaguely makes me feel like I am walking on the streets of Yili. The urban area of Tashkent is not large, and Yilan spent two days last week wandering the city, recommending this Citywalk route in Tashkent: Amir Timur Square: Amir Timur Square is the center of Tashkent, with the city's landmark - the statue of Emperor Timur standing in the middle of the square. Around Amir Timur Square, you can see the tall Uzbekistan Hotel and Dom Forum, the former being the most luxurious international hotel, and the latter a national-style venue for receiving foreign guests. Independence Square: Crossing a shopping street from Amir Timur Square, you will reach Independence Square, built to commemorate the independence of Uzbekistan. The square is topped with white egrets representing peace. Tashkent's Independence Square covers an area of 12 hectares and is a square that the people of Uzbekistan take pride in. The square features the Independence Monument erected in 1991, symbolizing the sovereignty of Uzbekistan. Surrounding the square are the Senate building, Romanov Palace, the Crying Mother Monument, and the Earthquake Memorial. White Mosque: The White Mosque (Minor Mosque) was built in the summer of 2013, adopting traditional Eastern architectural styles while incorporating modern elements. Although new, it does not affect its dazzling beauty, decorated with white marble, it is very eye-catching under the clear sky, especially suitable for photography. Tashkent TV Tower: This 375-meter-high triangular base building is a product of the Soviet era and is also a famous landmark building in Tashkent. By purchasing a ticket, you can go up to the observation deck about 100 meters high to overlook Tashkent. Central Asian Pilaf Center: Right at the foot of the TV tower, it is more of a tourist must-see spot than a restaurant. This is a restaurant that only sells pilaf, with a huge pot with a diameter of 1.5M selling 5 pots a day. Tashkent Chorsu Bazaar: To understand a city, you must go to the local market, and Chorsu Bazaar is highly recommended, also known as the Dome Bazaar. This is a very large bazaar, divided into many areas, with the central area under the big blue dome selling beef, lamb, horse meat, yogurt, pickles, dried fruits, etc., surrounded by a circle of shops selling vegetables, fruits, clothes, carpets, gold, crafts, etc., bustling with many locals coming here to shop. Assumption Cathedral: This Eastern Orthodox church was built in 1958 and was renovated in the 1990s. Its golden domes are very dazzling and beautiful, making it the largest Eastern Orthodox church in Tashkent. Cameras are not allowed inside the church, but mobile phone photography is permitted. Hazrati Imam Square (Hazrati Imam Complex): This complex appeared near the tomb of one of Tashkent's first Imams, the famous scientist, Quran and Hadith scholar, poet, and craftsman Hazrati Imam. The new building of the Hazrati Imam Mosque was completed in 2007. The structure of the mosque consists of the mosque itself and two minarets, retaining the style of the sixteenth century. Intercontinental Hotel Tashkent | Can be called the ceiling of local hotels

🇺🇿Traveling to Uzbekistan, I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel Tashkent in Tashkent. The location is excellent, the service is thoughtful, the private swimming pool, you can see the beautiful sunset in the room, and there is a Chinese courtesy. I gave three national characteristic dolls, which left a very good impression on our family. I am willing to call it the ceiling of local hotels. 🚇Geographical traffic: 2 shakhrisabz Street, 570 meters walk from Abdulla Qodirii subway station 🏨Overall introduction: The hotel opened in 2023, all facilities are very new, located in the city center, close to Timur Square and Timur subway station, and only a 5-minute walk from the National Timur Museum, which is convenient for travel. The hotel front desk speaks standard English, answers all questions, the service staff is thoughtful, and immediately brought welcome drinks. The suite room is spacious, the bathroom is super large, and the spare parts are Byredo. The simple black and white color scheme is very recognizable. Not only shampoo and shower gel, but also hand cream and lip balm, super love. After check-in, there are welcome fruits and dessert snacks, and the macarons are delicious. 🏊‍♀️Entertainment facilities: The hotel has a gym and an indoor swimming pool, as well as a sauna, and there is a lounge area next to it, suitable for vacation. 🍴Catering food: The environment of the hotel's executive lounge is very good, but the variety of food is not as rich as in China, there are more fruits, nuts, snacks, wine, and cold dishes, and there are not many hot dishes. The buffet breakfast is rich, mainly Western food, and the cheese and various fruits and vegetable juices are super rich. 🧸When checking out, the hotel also gave small gifts and 2 dolls wearing Uzbek national costumes. The gift is light and the sentiment is heavy. I will choose to stay at the Intercontinental next time I go to Tashkent.

The lighting here at night is very good, and many locals come here with their families to take a walk and have dinner.
