#moreinsg This has to be millennial’s most favourite restaurant, well at least it’s mine. Saizeraya ristorante e caffe is a hotspot for people like myself and many other because of its affordable Italian experience that is both tasty and tummy filling which found fame when you first kicked off its first branch in Liang Court which has now expanded into 30 stores all across our island. What is even less known fact is that having its restaurant based around the Italy, this brand is actually from Japan which is just mind boggling. I really love their drinks bar when you can get soft drinks, hot drinks through the machines on a free flow basis at just $3!

#favouriteitinerary We had the chance to stop by Onigiri Planet, also known as Nippon Bites, at Hillion Mall, and we loved every moment of it. This cozy spot offers a variety of freshly made onigiri, and we couldn’t resist trying a few. The rice was perfectly seasoned, and the fillings inside each onigiri were generous and flavorful. We tried a mix of options, from the classic tuna mayo to a more unique salmon and pickled plum combo. Each bite was a satisfying burst of flavor, with the crispy seaweed wrapping adding a nice crunch to the soft rice and fillings. We also grabbed a couple of sides, and everything just hit the spot. The miso soup was savory and comforting, and the Japanese drinks were refreshing and light—everything complemented the onigiri perfectly. The vibes at Onigiri Planet are super chill, with a modern yet cozy Japanese feel. The staff was friendly, and the quick service made it an easy stop for a casual meal. We felt right at home enjoying our meal there. Onigiri Planet is definitely one of those places we’d go back to, and we can’t wait to try more of their delicious rice balls the next time we’re in the area.

#newyearnewtrip I'm still reeling from the incredible lunch I had at Ichikokudo, a renowned Hokkaido Ramen chain. The moment I took a sip of the rich, savory broth, I knew I was in for a treat. The ramen noodles were cooked to perfection, retaining just the right amount of firmness. But what truly stole the show was the Teppan Fried Rice – a game-changer! The combination of crispy, caramelized rice and flavorful seasonings had me hooked. The portion was generous, to say the least, and the prices were very reasonable. If you're a ramen enthusiast like me, Ichikokudo is an absolute must-visit. Get ready to slurp your way to ramen nirvana!
