Travel month: February (2023) Weather: Sunny with chances of 🌧 Hotel: Ibis Budget Singapore Mount Faber Transportation: Train and Cable Car 💡 Singapore tourist pass - Offers tourists unlimited travel using LRT, MRT and buses for 1, 2 or 3 days. I obtained mine at the VivoCity station located at the Harbourfront. 💡Cable Car Flexi Pass - Offers unlimited cable car rides for the day and 2 free activities to choose from. I suggest getting the Sentosa Bus Tour and Wings of Time. I got the deal at the Harbourfronttower two gondola lift station for $65 per adult. ✨️ Day 1 - I spent the whole day exploring the popular spots near the Marina Bay.The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest require an entrance fee but it is worth it! I also loved the free Supertree lightshows at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. 📍 Esplanade -Theatres on the bay 📍 Merlion park 📍 Gardens by the Bay: Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Supertree Grove. ✨️Day 2 - I roamed the streets of Chinatown and tried some delicacies. After lunch, I visited Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa Island via Cable car. I'm glad I opt in for Sentosa Bus Tour and Wings of Time as part of Flexipass deal. I was able to explore the island with short amount of time. I also immerse myself to art and technology in a museum and then I joined a optional night tour around Singapore. It was an awesome experience! 📍Skypark Observation Deck 📍ArtScience Museum 📍Night tour by Big Bus Tours - meet up at Suntec city. We visited Marina Barrage, Lau Pa Sat and Gardens by the Bay, ending the night with a breathtaking Supertree light show. ✨️Day 4 - On the last day, I went back to Chinatown to buy souvenirs and checked out places I haven't visited before taking a cab to airport. To start with your journey, you can go to Singapore. As someone who has been living in Singapore for the past 5 years, never once I got catcalled or had anything stolen here. Ranked as #4 safest country in the world and as #1 in Asia, you don’t have to worry much about your safety here. As we can see from the maps, Singapore’s size is slightly smaller than Jakarta. The areas are divided into 9 districts. All the areas are also covered by bus and MRT for everyone to commute. Top places that you can visit to explore: Marina Bay Sands (MBS) area, Chinatown, Bugis, Orchard and Sentosa, where you can find things to buy, eat or just hanging around chilling. If you feel like exploring nature, or just enjoying the scenery of Singapore, you can try Marina Barrage, Fort Canning, East Coast Park, Henderson Waves or going on an easy hike at Bukit Timah Reserve. One of my favorite areas is the Joo Chiat neighborhood, where you can see some peranakan houses. A few of the offices and shops along here have been restored to their lovely Peranakan heritage, where most of the time they just renovated the inside without changing the exterior. First time in Singapore, the city is clean with lots of trees, very pleasant to the eyes, but the weather is very hot. Sometimes there’s no breeze, almost suffocating. When it drizzles, the weather cools down a bit. Really like the malls, they are huge with lots of shops and products, the air conditioning is so cold it makes you shiver. Love this because I enjoy walking in malls with air conditioning. Singapore is a country where the smell is the same everywhere, from the airport to the accommodation. 🚌 Transportation Mostly used buses, MRT, and walking. Called Grab once to pick us up from the airport. Traveling is very convenient, not chaotic, and not as crowded as other places I've been to. Used a Mastercard travel card to tap and pay, no need to buy an MRT card.

Our day #staycation #travel trip to Singapore was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we landed, everything was smooth and well-organized. The city is incredibly clean, safe, and full of vibrant energy. We started our journey at Marina Bay Sands, where the sky-high infinity pool offered stunning views of the city skyline. In the evening, we strolled along the Marina Bay waterfront, watching the Spectra light and water show—a truly magical moment! The next day, we explored Gardens by the Bay. Walking beneath the glowing Supertrees and visiting the Cloud Forest felt like stepping into the future. The Flower Dome was breathtaking, filled with beautiful blooms from all over the world. Of course, no visit to Singapore is complete without tasting local food! We had a feast at Maxwell Food Centre and Lau Pa Sat—chicken rice, satay, laksa, chili crab… every bite was unforgettable. We also visited Sentosa Island, where we relaxed on the beach and enjoyed fun attractions like the SkyHelix and S.E.A. Aquarium. It was a perfect balance of nature and excitement. Singapore is not only beautiful, but also efficient and welcoming. The people were kind, and public transport made exploring easy. Every day brought something new, from cultural sites like Chinatown and Little India, to shopping at Orchard Road. This trip gave us cherished memories, and we can’t wait to return someday to discover even more of what Singapore has to offer!

Singapore, the wealthy country of Southeast Asia. I think there’s hardly anyone who doesn’t know Singapore. It’s one of the countries with so many things to see. Whether it’s food, culture, or tourist attractions, I think there’s nothing missing. My favorite place in Singapore is Marina Barrage because you can see Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands Hotel well. It’s great to buy some fruit and have a picnic while sitting there. Cloud Dome exceeded my expectations. I wondered what an indoor waterfall would be like, and it was better than I imagined. Some people say it’s a waste of money and only visit the Flower Dome, but what’s the point of saving money while traveling? I recommend spending freely and experiencing the Cloud Dome. Merlion Park is always crowded. So it’s hard to take photos without people. If you want to take perfect shots, go early in the morning when there are no people, or late at night. I once went in the middle of the day and almost died from the heat. The Supertree Show is free and one of Singapore’s representative performances. The show changes with the music each season, so every time you visit, the music is different, making the show feel fresh every time. Sometimes, they even perform to Arirang, and I think Koreans would be very proud to see that performance. The hotel was near the Clarke Quay area, and just across the river is the old police station building. It’s colorful and great for taking pictures. However, there is a big road between the streets with many passing cars, so it’s hard to take pretty photos. Safety comes first over photos, so please be careful.
