Chapter 1: Kuala Lumpur Arriving in Kuala Lumpur: You can choose from airport pick-up, subway, or Grab. There are ready-made strategies for each method, and we chose to pre-order airport pick-up (via Ctrip), the driver speaks Chinese, and the whole process is very safe and secure. Accommodation: Moka Eik Cherlas Suite Hotel, a taxi ride from KLCC (Petronas Twin Towers) costs ten ringgit, Pros: Duplex, very high ceilings and very new. Cons: Ants in the room, cannot check in 24 hours, need to check in advance. Tourist route: On the first day in Kuala Lumpur, we mainly focused on shopping/visiting the Twin Towers, so we spent the day shopping at Pavilion and KLCC. Features: Many brands, complete range of products, but I live in Hong Kong, and after comparing prices, I found that many items do not have a great price advantage. In Malacca, you can buy the most famous chocolate and coconut cookies, for chocolate, it is recommended to shop around as the prices vary, for coconut cookies, stick to Chen Jin Fu, a large box of 12 for 11.9, a small box of 5, three boxes for 14 ringgit.

I went on a 3-night, 5-day trip to Malaysia 💓 I left for Kuala Lumpur on AirAsia at 11:55pm from Haneda. I worked as usual and made it to the airport in no time at all after work 🫶 I arrived in Kuala Lumpur around 8am. I exchanged about 3000 yen for ringgit at the airport and headed to my first destination. From the airport, I took a train to Putrajaya Station. (Credit cards are accepted!) There are lockers at the station that can easily hold a suitcase and carry-on luggage (30RM; prepare 3 x 10RM in cash and purchase coins from a vending machine), so I put my luggage there and headed to the Pink Mosque! To get to the Pink Mosque, I used the taxi app grab and took a taxi. It took about 20 minutes. Taxis are cheap in Malaysia, so use grab! There is no admission fee to the Pink Mosque. All women borrow pink gowns. (This is also free) It's kind of cute because everyone is wearing this 🩷 The ceiling inside the Pink Mosque is very beautiful! You can take a lot of photos, but there are people praying, so try not to make too much noise lol After touring the inside of the mosque, we went on a Putrajaya Lake cruise! We bought a ticket (credit card accepted ← this information is not listed anywhere 😂 I think I'm the only one writing it) and killed time by looking at souvenir shops until the appointed time 🎵 The waiting time was about 20 minutes? (I think it was the 11:15 show). There were small and big boats, but we chose the small one 🚢 It was cheap at 30 RM (about 900 yen) per person, and it has a roof but no walls, so you can see the view well! The cruise was about 40 minutes 🎵 The only way to see the Pink Mosque from the lake is to take a boat, so be sure to take it lol Sometimes the sun hits you at an angle, so sunscreen is a must! On the way, there was a moment when the Pink Mosque and the Prime Minister's Residence came into view side by side, which was very moving. After boarding the boat, it was just around lunchtime, so we had lunch at the food court near the cruise dock.
