Tower Bridge Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
London Eye in Spring 🌸
Spring is remarkable in London with spring flowers! From London eye to the tower bridge you can enjoy this beautiful walk through with lots of taihaku flowers that is the white cherry blossom! It is so beautiful and definitely worth visiting in spring! Went in March and was lucky to catch these flowers in full bloom…check the forecast for next year bloom. Hope to catch the spring flowers in 2024 too!
Tower Bridge 🇬🇧
The famous Tower of London Bridge is definitely a place I would recommend to visit if you are in London. The views from above are spectacular and have glass floors that you can stand on to see the road and the River Thames from above. It also has many facts, videos, and even some interactive parts. Tickets also include access to engine rooms that were equally interesting. However, if you don’t want to wait 20-30 minutes, book in advance! Overall, the experience was an experience you didn’t want to miss!
It’s “just a part of the London scene” – I had no idea I could walk through the top of this iconic London structure! What a great experience The option of stairs or elevator takes visitors to the “top” and from here you have the option to walk through the length of the bridge through the glass walkway or across the “normal” floor! Great discussions and challenges on the part of most people. I admit I chose to do half and a half!
Although it was gray and cloudy, the views were great. It was great to see the Tower of London, which had been England’s tallest building for centuries, dwarfing in front of the city’s modern buildings.
From the walkway we were then able to visit the Victorian machinery gallery that once ran this bridge. Machines that were works of art! Definitely worth a visit.
Tower Bridge - Londoners fave landmark 🇬🇧
While visiting London, there are a few key landmarks you absolutely can not miss. Tower Bridge is definitely one of them! It amazes not only the visitors but also holds a special place in the hearts of many Londoners. It's not just a remarkable architectural structure but also a cherished symbol of the city's history and identity.
For locals, Tower Bridge represents more than just a crossing over the River Thames; it embodies the heritage and pride of London. Its iconic silhouette against the skyline is a constant reminder of the city's rich past and its continuous evolution.
Londoners often appreciate Tower Bridge for its beauty, engineering marvel, and the role it plays in connecting different parts of the city. Many have fond memories associated with the bridge, whether it's passing over it during their daily commute, enjoying the views from nearby locations, or taking part in events hosted in its vicinity.
To me, it's often a place of meetings and a beautiful backdrop to admire while going for walks along the River Thames. :) #falltrip #mytravelhacks #localguides #historicallandmarks #london

London Eye Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
London Eye 🇬🇧
Very smooth process. I can’t really see the whole city, it’s basically hovering over Big Ben and Parliament. You can see some other things like a strad. But it’s really moving slowly, about 30 minutes to get all the way. Lots of time to take pictures However, be aware if you’re with a group, there’s an automatic image shortly before you land. It’s on the left side of the car, if you want to bring all your people together and get ready for this image. I had a big family in my garage and they weren't aware of it and were upset that they didn't get a group photo on the pod. Bell S, Savannah, Georgia, USA
The line moved at a relative speed which is nice because it was raining. Which leads us to the disadvantage of our visit. Since it was raining, it was very difficult to see it from the pod and taking good photos was practically impossible. Again, it is not recommended to visit during the holiday as we did on Easter.
I went to Al Ain as part of a multiple ticket to a family of four. It’s too expensive without a deal. We had our first flight of the day at 10am. We arrived at the waiting list 9.40am and we were on a flight at 10.05am. This was Saturday, April 8. Since the queues weren’t too busy, they didn’t fill the pod with people and we had plenty of space to move around the pod to see the views from every angle. The weather was nice which helped, we had clear skies and sunshine, so we saw great views of London. The pod got so hot as the sun was shining. It moves slowly and our flight lasted about 25 minutes. It was a great experience.
In 2024, I want to go to here again

Big Ben Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
The London Eye 🇬🇧
To see the Elizabeth Tower, Big Ben, with crowds near zero and traffic, try to visit as soon as possible in the morning. We arrived around dawn on a weekday in June and found the area wide open for beautiful and quiet views of the tower. It’s also amazing to see the towering Gothic Renaissance icon that is Big Ben anytime, day or night.
Not everyone knows any words about Big Ben. Only one alert Be careful while taking the photo, you may find a clown lady who wants to be in your photo with a smiling face and will start asking for money from you after that. So please be aware and stay away from it. Otherwise everything was very good. Take as much more photos and videos as possible. Go to the other side of Big Ben so you can take a good photo.
It was an amazing experience that we went up to the bell tower. I was afraid of going up 334 degrees. However, my concerns were not needed. She wasn’t too attached to the stairwell, and the groups were a maximum of 12. I didn't feel rushing at all, and after climbing 113 degrees, we stopped and went to a room where our guide gave us the history of the building. There are two other stations before we arrive next to Big Ben itself. We were lucky to arrive in the middle of the day, so we had the full experience! Our type was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. Before you climb the tower, you have to leave anything that is dangerous to the fall. Also, you cannot take photos during the tour. I didn't mind because I felt like I was living at this moment and that the memory was firmly fixed in my mind.
In 2024, I want to go to Malaysia

The British Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
🇬🇧Journey Through History!🏴🏛️
The British Museum is one of London's cultural gems, a place where humanity's history unfolds through a vast collection of artifacts from every corner of the world. Divided into different thematic areas, the museum offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in various eras and cultures, from ancient Greece to the pharaohs of Egypt and beyond. Each room is a journey through time, with artifacts that tell stories of conquests, discoveries, and traditions passed down through the centuries.
**Getting There from London Euston:**🚇Ⓜ️
From London Euston station, you can easily reach the British Museum using the London Underground. Take the Northern Line (the black line) heading south towards Tottenham Court Road station. Once there, you can take a short walk to the museum. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes.
One of the best pieces of news is that admission to the British Museum is free. This makes it accessible to anyone wanting to explore the world of history and art without any cost. You can make a voluntary donation to contribute to the museum's upkeep, but there's no obligation to pay.
**Where to Eat:**🍽️
After a morning or afternoon of exploration, you can refuel at one of the restaurants or cafes within the museum. The Great Court Restaurant offers a variety of options, from light snacks to heartier meals. If you prefer something quicker, you can find cafes serving snacks and beverages. Alternatively, you can opt for a picnic in the surrounding gardens, weather permitting.
The British Museum is truly a gem that I recommend everyone to visit during their stay in London. The opportunity to immerse oneself in global history through its eclectic collections is a unique experience that will leave a lasting impression.#TravelInspiration #london #trip #vacation #culture
Wanna know the History?
First things first, let's talk about the sheer size of this place. It's massive! As you step inside, you'll find yourself surrounded by endless corridors and galleries, each filled with treasures from all corners of the world. Trust me, you could spend days here and still not see everything.
Now, let's get to the star of the show – the exhibits. Brace yourself for some jaw-dropping artifacts that will transport you through time. From the famous Rosetta Stone to the stunning Elgin Marbles, the British Museum houses some truly iconic pieces. It's like stepping into the pages of a history book, only better because you can actually see and touch these ancient wonders.
One of the things I love most about the British Museum is its diverse collection. You can explore everything from Egyptian mummies to Greek sculptures, from ancient Chinese ceramics to African tribal masks. It's a melting pot of cultures, and it's fascinating to see how civilizations have evolved throughout the ages.
Another highlight is the museum's commitment to education. They have interactive displays and multimedia presentations that make learning about history fun and engaging. Whether you're a curious child or an adult with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, there's something for everyone here.
Oh, and did I mention that the entrance to the British Museum is free? Yes, you read that right! So, you can wander through these hallowed halls without spending a penny. It's a fantastic opportunity to soak up all the history and culture without breaking the bank.
Now, I do have to mention that the British Museum can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist season. So, if you prefer a quieter experience, I recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the day. That way, you can truly appreciate the exhibits without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds.
