A Local Favorite: Enjoying Laksa at 928 Yishun Laksa
We’ve been to 928 Yishun Laksa a few times, and every visit keeps us coming back for more. The stall is always bustling with locals, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a favorite in the area. The laksa here never disappoints.
We always go for the signature laksa, and at just $3.30 for a large bowl, it’s such a great deal. The broth is rich and creamy with a nice balance of spice, and the combination of tau pok, fish cake slices, hard-boiled egg, and crab stick makes for a satisfying bowl. On top of that, we love adding the blood cockles for that extra burst of briny sweetness—definitely a must-try if you haven’t had it yet.
One thing that never fails to impress is the sambal chili. It’s the perfect kick of heat and flavor, and we can adjust it to our liking every time. It adds such depth to the dish, and we just can’t get enough of it.
The stall’s consistent quality and affordable prices make it a local gem, and it’s clear why there’s always a line during peak hours. Every time we visit, we leave feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next bowl of laksa. It’s become one of our go-to spots when we’re in the area.
