Highlights - Ayam Geprek Trio Sambal & Papa Ayam Box Avg. Price per Person - SGD 13 Rating - 8/10 Basically crushed chicken 🐓 mixed with freshly made sambal ranging from Level 1 to Level 15. To play it safe, we were recommended to go for Level 3, a good starting point for those who cant handle the heat. Papa Ayam is now on my list of restaurants to recommend to family and friends. Chong Pang market and food centre is home to many famous food stall and one stall that has a snake queue to it is called Tian Ji Shu Shi. This stall is famous for their prawns and pork ribs noodles and it is well loved and well known by residents staying nearby and also food bloggers/influencers. This noodle stall is located within a market and food centre, thus it is not expensive for a good bowl of noodles. However it is not just the cheap price that is attractive but how soft the pork ribs was and the noodles was well seasoned with sauce and with the added prawns. They have both dry and soup versions and their soup broth was tasty. Other well liked items include their chicken feet noodles, which many ordered as well. They mainly sell fluffy soufflé pancakes desserts and some drinks. You will need to wait a while as the staff will only start preparing once you have ordered. As it’s an open kitchen format, you can observe the making of the thick fluffy soufflé pancakes from the front counter. It’s interesting to see how fluffy the pancakes are and how they cook and decorate the customers’ pancakes.

We’ve been to 928 Yishun Laksa a few times, and every visit keeps us coming back for more. The stall is always bustling with locals, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a favorite in the area. The laksa here never disappoints. We always go for the signature laksa, and at just $3.30 for a large bowl, it’s such a great deal. The broth is rich and creamy with a nice balance of spice, and the combination of tau pok, fish cake slices, hard-boiled egg, and crab stick makes for a satisfying bowl. On top of that, we love adding the blood cockles for that extra burst of briny sweetness—definitely a must-try if you haven’t had it yet. One thing that never fails to impress is the sambal chili. It’s the perfect kick of heat and flavor, and we can adjust it to our liking every time. It adds such depth to the dish, and we just can’t get enough of it. The stall’s consistent quality and affordable prices make it a local gem, and it’s clear why there’s always a line during peak hours. Every time we visit, we leave feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next bowl of laksa. It’s become one of our go-to spots when we’re in the area.

#favouriteitinerary Although Singapore doesn’t have Olive Young, Sasa is a popular option for you to go to if you’re into Korean and Japanese makeup/skincare products like me. Although the items can be available in Watsons or Guardian sometimes, Sasa has testers and the most options in my opinion. They also have a perfume section as well. They have some brands that you cannot find in Sephora, making it worthwhile for a visit. I bought toner pads from there and the staffs were so nice and helpful too. I got it with a very good 50% off deal. Do give it a visit as this is the only place I know with Anua Product samples haha. You can get there from Jurong East MRT to woodlands or at Northpoint City in Yishun.

I am a big lover of corn dogs, the cheese + corn and chicken + corn were especially great! You can also add on tteokbokki or sausages or popcorn chicken for a lower price if you purchase a corn dog. Definitely recommend this if you’re a lover of Korean snacks like me!

Address: next to Yishun mrt Till November 17th The next one will be Waterway Point outdoor from 6th Dec 2024 till 25th December 2024 It’s walking distance and very near the mrt. There is many varieties of store available. I saw cheese coin, takoyaki, rosti, kunafa, smelly tofu, waffles and many more. Rosti starts from $6.50. Takoyaki is $4. There are plenty of seats available. They are sheltered so no worries of the heavy rain. Neon lights and cherry blossoms trees are set up for people who want to take photos for their social media accounts.

Checking out Pari Baguette Branch at Northpoint level 2 this time. located at the North Wing of North point, pastries at Paris Baguette are fresh and of quality. loves their beverages and there’s a good choice. They are particular of the comfort of patrons from how they choose their design of furniture. This branch has pretty nice back supported seatings. Good for catch up!

Durian fruit has been a hot favourite for people in the tropical regions. In Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, the demand for durian is on an increasing trend. We can easily find durian from everywhere in Singapore. One of my favorite places to buy durian is at Yishun. There are many fruit stalls at Yishun selling durian. Be it Chong Pang or yishun ring road, you can easily hear durian sellers yelling for durian sales. My best experience would be at block 418 at yishun, behind the fairprice supermarket. The queue will always be long even on a weekday evening. The Mao Shan Wang durian can go as low as $10 per kg. Their MSW is one of the best I have tasted. On weekends, the queue can take as long as an hour. Durians usually arrive after 6pm, as the durian are freshly transported from the durian farm in Pahang. Do try it out to taste one of the best tasting durian in Singapore. #moreinsg
