If you arrive early, feel free to explore Central Square or take a leisurely stroll around the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area - your first taste of Guilin's legendary "landscape that tops all under heaven."

Note: These are self-guided explorations, and transport is not included. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera.

The Longji Rice Terraces are renowned for their awe-inspiring views, especially when they turn golden in autumn. Standing atop this magnificent man-made wonder is an extraordinary experience.

If the shuttle bus to Jinkeng Rice Terrace is suspended, we will arrange a tour of Ping'an Terraces (with complimentary electric vehicle round-trip service), where you can enjoy views of the Nine Dragons Five Tigers and the Seven Stars with Moon Accompanying Platform.

Optional upgrades: cable car in Jinkeng Terrace (CNY 50/pax/one way) or electric cart in Ping'an Terraces (CNY 30/pax/one-way)

2. Drone aerial photography is weather-dependent. It cannot be arranged on windy or rainy days.

3. Aerial photography is a free service. No refund will be provided if it cannot be captured due to special circumstances.

We recommend a local restaurant in the scenic area. It offers genuine and original ethnic cuisine of the Longjie area, with all the ingredients sourced from the local people's own farmlands. Each dish reflects the local people's simple, warm hospitality. Unlike ordinary group meals, it will delight your taste buds.

Cruise: You can enjoy a 3-star cruise on the Li River. A cruise along the Li River is an unforgettable experience; amidst spectacular limestone peaks, you will witness graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending to rice paddies, and lumbering water buffalo cooling off in the river. Disembark in Yangshuo town around 1:30 p.m.

A boxed lunch is served on board and is included in the cruise ticket.

Silver Cave runs through twelve mountains and is renowned for its majestic, strange, secluded, and beautiful features. Inside the cave, it is dim and winding, with stalactites formed during various geological periods. These formations sparkle like silver and diamonds, appearing crystal clear, flawless, and as white as snow. Under the light, they appear like the Milky Way cascading down from the night sky.

Rafting: Yulong River is known as the Little Li River in Yangshuo. The bamboo raft ride is one of the most peaceful and beautiful experiences in Guilin.

Glide slowly along crystal-clear water, passing by ancient stone bridges, lush bamboo groves, and classic karst mountains. Unlike motorized boats, these traditional bamboo rafts are quiet, letting you enjoy the calm countryside scenery.

It's perfect for relaxing, taking photos, and feeling like you're inside a Chinese landscape painting.

Important notes for double-person bamboo rafting
1. The raft is designed to accommodate 2 passengers. Solo travelers who cannot be paired with another guest will need to pay an additional fee for a private raft.
2. Not permitted: For safety reasons, the Yulong River scenic area does not allow anyone over 70 years old, children under 1 meter tall, pregnant women, people with disabilities, or travelers with heart disease, coronary heart disease, or hypertension to board the raft.
3. Height Requirement: For child with a height of 1 meter or above, please purchase at the adult price.
4. Weight Limit: A person's weight must not exceed 100 kilograms, or the combined weight of 2 persons must not exceed 160 kilograms. Otherwise, they will have to take a separate bamboo raft for 1 person, and the fee will be charged per raft.

If you are unable to take the double-person bamboo raft, you can choose the 4-person or 8-person bamboo raft instead. People aged 70 and children under 1 meter can also ride on them. It is suitable for family group.

Nestled in Guilin, Guangxi, Ruyi Peak is a stunning karst mountain renowned for its unique landscape. It features a glass skywalk clinging to the cliffside, offering heart-stopping panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and lush valleys.

Visitors can take a cable car to the summit, where they can also explore the winding wooden paths and admire the natural rock formations. The peak gets its name from its resemblance to a ruyi, a traditional Chinese symbol of good fortune. It's a perfect blend of natural beauty and thrilling adventure, drawing tourists from all over the world.

Shi Wai Tao Yuan (Paradise Beyond the World/Shangri-La Park)

Visitors typically start with a boat tour on Yanzi Lake, gliding past peach groves, farmlands, and through Yanzi Cave, where ethnic groups like the Dong, Zhuang, and Miao present welcoming rituals and traditional singing and dancing. On land, you can explore iconic minority architectures including drum towers, wind-rain bridges, and singing stages, as well as experience folk crafts like traditional papermaking. The whole journey takes 1–2 hours, offering a peaceful escape just like the utopia described in the ancient text, perfect for nature lovers and cultural explorers.
