The place is quite lovely, and the staff is polite mand always ready to assist the guests. It is super clean and tidy, and the food is amazing. However, there are things that I cannot overlook. The Internet is one of them, we did not have an internet connection at this hotel. The wifi signal is horrible. There are too many ants. We had a room on the fourth floor, and they managed to climb up there. If you leave some food on the table or a desk, there should be an ant party within 30 minutes. The place is kinda old, it doesn't feel like a four-star place. Some things are outdated. The restaurant is pretty expensive compared to the other restaurants close by (mango sticky rice is 200 compared to an average 100 outside)and the beach bar was closed due the renovation. We had fun here and we will be back. I highly recommend this place for families. This is not a critique but a guideline on how to improve. Cheers!

This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway in a natural seaside style. It offers a pleasant atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly, attentive service. The breakfast is also delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-designed separate areas for the toilet and shower. There are two swimming pool zones and a variety of engaging guest activities, such as morning yoga, afternoon boxing, and water exercise sessions.

Very good , good big room , lots of things to do , great price at time of booking considering what has to offer compared to other places in the area , good breakfast not the best I save that for star convention in rayong .. Overall considering we on am island at the mercy of controlled prices was as a fair deal , stay again in a couple of days ..

Beautiful place, very beautiful beach, can swim, newly opened accommodation, many management still need to be improved, such as the amount of breakfast, drinks during long holidays are not enough for guests, the hotel tries to manage the situation well, but customers have to wait a bit. If you focus on a survival atmosphere, it is okay. Cleanliness is okay, bathroom, shower room should have shoes for customers to change into. The tent is cleaned every day and you can ask for new towels every day.

The bathroom fixtures gleamed like new, and the bedding clearly appeared to be regularly changed, which offered complete peace of mind. The public areas were also kept immaculately clean, contributing to a very comfortable atmosphere. The service, without a doubt, was the biggest highlight of my stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, readily answering all my questions, and both check-in and check-out processes were handled with impressive efficiency. Throughout my stay, the staff maintained a constant smile and were quick to resolve any issues, making me feel genuinely cared for. A particular instance that stood out was when I needed an extra blanket; I called, and it was delivered to my room in under five minutes. Their efficiency and positive attitude truly deserve high praise! Overall, this is an excellent hotel that ensures a comfortable, relaxing, and worry-free stay. I highly recommend it for both business travelers and families. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps.

The address on Ctrip is wrong! It's wrong! Give Ctrip a bad review! I used this address for navigation and went to the wrong place, kc! Just enter its English name on Google. The room is actually very shabby, and the guest room is still upgraded, with a sea view room. Then there is a strong musty smell, just like a hotel I stayed in Shengsi before, but that hotel in China is 1500, and it also has a private beach but no breakfast. The location here is amazing, with its own beach and swimming pool, but the room smells musty and not very clean. The air conditioning is also relatively poor, and the bedding is also relatively worn out. The breakfast is okay, very mediocre, but at least there is milk. The Giraffe Hotel in China costs 1500 a night, and there is no milk in the morning. In short, around 300, it is super value! Forget about pursuing quality, but pursue cost-effectiveness, it is not too bad. It is clean, but it is old, the house by the sea is damp, and there is a strong musty smell. Worth it.

Nice hotel cut into 2 parts by a street. Modern part towards the sea with a nice pool and different bungalows. Older part hillside with an additional pool. No elevator. No sand but rocky beach. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet 7-10 am. 7/11 & macro store next door.

Hotel was lovely, right on the beach and could to the local shops. We had a terrible issue with flies, and even though we ensured all the doors and windows remained closed, these tiny flies still appeared from the drains. We had to ask the staff to come every evening to help (which they did) but it wasn’t the best welcome back after a day out to have flies on all our personal belongings, especially when the main area was in the bathroom.
