I didn't want to go too far for dinner, so I searched around the hotel and found this restaurant ranked fifth in Essaouira. There was a resident singer in the evening. We went early, but it was full. The environment was warm, the service was nice, and the food was really delicious. We ordered seafood pasta, fried seafood platter, and tiramisu. Needless to say, the seafood was very fresh, the quantity was large and the taste was great. The tiramisu was different from the one in Fez. I think it was layered with two kinds of wine. In short, it was great. If you want to change your taste in Essaouira, it's worth a visit.

We had an innovative, very tasty and great value meal here to round off our stay in Essaouira. Goat cheese pastry and crab with avocado - a great start to the meal along with a tempting array of freebies; seafood recipes and grilled squid mains were equally excellent - the names were completely deceiving, the imagination and care of the chef was evident in the dishes. We couldn't eat dessert in the end - but the food was so good that we tried one anyway - a light, perfectly fluffy chocolate mousse, which did not disappoint. No alcoholic drinks menu - but the various juices on offer all tasted good. On a final note, my wife said it was lucky we didn't discover this place on our first day as we probably wouldn't have gone anywhere else!

I love this place! It's a beautiful restaurant and art gallery. The food is amazing! The best pie I've ever had in my life! There's fire, music and a magician every night. But it's not too crowded. I had a great meal in this beautiful restaurant! I highly recommend!

This Moroccan restaurant is an Internet-famous restaurant located in the busy market area. Some seats here are close to the edge of the rooftop, overlooking the entire ancient city of Marrakech. The scenery is really very good, but there are very few seats, so you have to rely on luck.

It is the most famous restaurant in Marrakech, Morocco. You can enjoy large-scale entertainment performances while tasting delicious food here. The environment of the restaurant here is a bit like the scene of the Moroccan royal family eating, full of exquisite and delicious food, as well as large-scale equestrian performances and fireworks shows. It is really super happy, enjoying the treatment of royal nobles. It is said to be a bit expensive, but it is really worth it.

The restaurant is painted in blue and white. Once you get there, you can't stop taking pictures. Haha... If it were in China, it would definitely be a popular restaurant. And the terrace has a direct view of the castle. The food tastes pretty good, the steak and pasta are delicious. The drinks are a bit expensive. I didn't pay attention when I ordered them, but when I checked out, I found that 4 drinks cost more than 100 yuan, which is about the same price as in China.

At the same address, there is a French bakery during the weekday. The baker has worked in Alain Ducasse, Laduree, and Yauatcha. I went there three times last week and tried several pastries. From my personal taste, the overall performance is not bad. The daily danish has a good balance of freshness and sweetness, and it is not as sweet as other places. If you are interested, you can try it.

Coffee Shops

PATISSERIE DRISS, a French cake shop located on the busiest street in Essaouira, has iconic blue doors and windows. Although the eye-catching signs tell you that this is an old shop in 1928, you will miss it if you are not careful. I have seen too many cake shops and bakeries, all with large transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, wishing to show all the contents. This one is good, everything is hidden, even the only window is covered tightly with white cloth, which has a sense of pride of being hidden in the city. When you go in, the view is suddenly clear. The photos and portraits on the dark log walls and the colored brick arched marble columns occupy all the sights. As a guest who has been here said, "Paintings, drawings, flags covering every inch of the walls". This is the most artistic cake shop we have ever seen. If it were in China, such a combination of cakes and paintings might have a great chance of becoming a so-called Internet celebrity, but here, it seems to be the case. In fact, it is not difficult to understand. The painting art of Essaouira is well-known. If you appreciate it carefully, you will find that like the paintings of street artists, most of the works here combine primitive African elements with psychedelic hippie art works to form a strong and tangible cultural impact. This feeling should be rarely seen in other places, and it is unique to this place. The cakes and breads here, like this city, not only retain the essence of French baking, but also fully reflect the compromise with the local taste of Morocco. Moroccans love sweets, but the sweetness here is properly controlled, the variety is dazzling, and it is renovated every day. With a little thought, dessert lovers can't stop. Of course, the key to the key is the affordable price. All delicious cakes and breads are priced uniformly at 5DIRHAMS. Look at the six snacks we ordered, the total price is only 30. If you have a cup of cappuccino, it is only 6DIRHAMS. Counting the exchange rate of 0.7 to RMB, it is really a conscientious restaurant today.

This is a restaurant recommended by Moroccan food experts. The decoration of the whole restaurant is very Moroccan style. You must try the grilled chicken wings here. They are baked with charcoal paste and spices and are very tasty. Every bite is delicious and worth a try.

This is a very famous specialty restaurant in Morocco. It is a pure buffet restaurant. The environment of the whole hall is very good. The fish fillets and chicken fillets here are very delicious. With the Casablanca leather balls, the taste is even better.

The French are delicate in emotion and romantic in thought. Therefore, French food is very particular. French food culture is very old. Since Louis XIV, French food diplomacy has been world-famous. In the heyday of French banquets, 200 dishes can be served on the table at a time. The French's favorite dishes are snails and frog legs, their favorite food is cheese, their most expensive dish is goose liver, and their home-cooked dishes are fried steak with shredded potatoes. In addition, the French are the world's champion drinkers, especially wine drinkers. France is one of the three major culinary kingdoms in the world. The French pay attention to food and are willing to spend money. The French do not like to eat scaleless fish or spicy dishes. They generally like to eat delicious dishes that are slightly raw and tender. The French are generally happy to drink raw water (tap water) and are not used to drinking boiled water. The world-famous French cuisine, with its exquisite and luxurious noble taste, has swept the stomachs of diners around the world. The French regard "eating" as a great pleasure in life. They believe that food is not only a kind of enjoyment, but also an art. In the 16th century, the French court had a very sophisticated food culture. After the French Revolution, as the court chefs went to the market, court cuisine began to take root among the people. French cuisine attaches great importance to the use of "ingredients". It is a truth of French cuisine that inferior ingredients cannot make good dishes. The characteristic of French cuisine is that it uses local ingredients, which makes the tastes different in different parts of the country. Therefore, it is very important to "eat what dishes you eat in different places and what dishes you eat in different seasons"!
