TheForkUserSurprise package for us while on holiday. Was not sure about coming in to what looks like a business hotel/restaurant but honestly blown away by the food and environment. Possibly two best plates of food in have had in years. Boys were able to play on the foosball table too. Thank you. Great team great service. Outstanding chef.

We liked the explanations on the meals, the tastiness, the flexibility of the restaurant to respond to food allergies. The place is cosy and homey. We also liked the mid century decor. Also, we were there with (well behaved) children and teenagers and this was not an issue.

TheForkUserFor my first try at The Fork, everything went well. We chose the "Italia" pizza with prawns and scallops flambéed with whisky. It was delicious. The prawns were already peeled, which means you don't get your fingers dirty. Slight disappointment with the scallops, which I think were scallops. But given the price of the pizza and its flavor, we don't blame them, it was very, very good. A tiramisu for dessert, also very good. We'll be back.

TheForkUserGreat place in the nice city of Rennes. Boasting an open kitchen, the restaurant’s focus is meat but fish is also on the list (octopus and dorada). We had a burger from Rennes and one of duck (both delicious) while the one of us had a very convenient formule (a set menu) featuring truffle rice balls, pork and caramel mousse. Also nice service.

TheForkUserThe food was excellent, with clean and pleasant flavors, and good-sized portions. Everything was super fresh, and all the ingredients were top-notch. The waitstaff were very helpful and well-mannered. Their lemon and passion fruit sorbet could easily belong in a Michelin-starred restaurant. The pear and cider vinegar sauce was strong but paired perfectly with the duck. Be sure to try it with the foie gras as well 😎 .
