As always, the service was perfect - friendly, polite and professional. The food is excellent with a choice of modern European or local Portuguese dishes and always top quality. The cocktail list is well worth viewing and the wine selection covers every possible taste at very reasonable prices. This is our number one local restaurant.

TheForkUserCelebrated my husband’s birthday at the restaurant. It was a beautiful day and the view was wonderful. The servers were nice and attentive (especially Eduardo). The bacalhau and the roasted veggies were very tasty. The burger was just ok. Overall it’s worth a visit. We’ll be back.

TheForkUserWe were passing through here on our way to the Mira D’Aire Caves, we needed a place to have lunch with our young daughters! It was a pleasant surprise, the decoration was super cute, there was a small space for the children to play, and a variety of foods to please both adults and children! It was empty, but since it is not a place of passage, it ends up being normal. It is located in a swimming pool complex.

TheForkUserWe have been coming to Marriott’s Praia D’el Rey Resort for many years. The hotel, the grounds, the rooms and the service are all excellent. We try to time our stay when the Emprata Restaurant is open because it is a 5*+ experience every time. The room is beautiful with its ocean and sunset views. The menu choices include fish and meats. Eduardo, the restaurant host, is remarkably attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and is determined to provide the best dining experience possible. He has made every meal perfect and his knowledge of wines is an added touch. The chef, Bernardo Vitorino, is extraordinary and super creative. The mixture of textures and flavors, combined with the visuals of a picture perfect presentation, is memorable. Emprata is fine dining at its best!
