Everything was superb. From the starters to the main course of rice pudding. It was spectacular, by the way. And the dessert was just as spectacular. We'll definitely be back. 10/10

Welcome to Albacete, the fourth stop of our gastronomic journey! Restaurante Maralba “La Mancha cuisine with a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean”, yes, this is the two-Michelin-starred restaurant in the small town of Almansa. Chef Fran Martínez knows how to highlight the characteristics of local cuisine and its products. He gives the rich flavor of La Mancha tradition to various fresh fish, as well as niche fish purchased daily from La Vila Joiosa fish market, paired with La Mancha soul wine and homemade bread, it will definitely bring a different taste experience! Recommended price €€€ Restaurante Ababol A Michelin-starred restaurant, the name of the restaurant comes from the local name for poppies, and is famous for its modern and innovative seasonal food experience. Chef Juan Monteagudo offers gourmet dishes from La Mancha, many of which come from his own farm, a carefully selected selection of unique sauces, half portions, and two tasting menus called Tierra and Ababol, where the cauliflower and Iberian lard are worth trying. Recommended price€€€ Oba Restaurante Oba This is more than a restaurant, it is a concept, a concept that is linked to the environment. Chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo invite you to "Oba-", where the menu starts with delicious dishes made with pure and fresh plants, all the fish on the menu comes from the river, local Castilla-La Mancha sheep, Celtic goats, fish and crayfish, river vegetables... Paired with wine, see, feel and taste a unique gastronomic journey that can only happen in La Mancha. Recommended price€€€ Restaurante Azafrán The restaurant's dishes are from La Mancha, and the menu is very refined. The most important thing is to respect local products, such as artichoke stuffed marinade, handmade shepherd's cheese fried cakes, foie gras and carob bread, partridge and pumpkin lasagna, etc. The menu changes with the seasons, and a rich gastronomic journey awaits you. Recommended price€€ El Callejón A restaurant with a bullfighting atmosphere, here are photos and souvenirs paying tribute to bullfighting figures, as well as traditional La Mancha cuisine, cheese and local wines. In addition, stewed oxtail and La Mancha-style Spanish cold soup are not to be missed! Recommended price€€

A really amazing fabulous lunch! Outstanding cooking and amazing and unusual flavours and ingredient combinations. ????????- Excellent service too. 10/10(My only very very minor critisism would be the menu choices - slightly confused with the choice of menus and QR code link - the experience of pictures / photography and descriptions on the QR link could be better ;-) ) Though to be fair - Maybe it was due to Covid.

We return to this wonderful restaurant since many years. A warm and professional atmosphere of a traditional family business, doing a great job - both in the kitchen (mother) and in the service (son). Do not chose a wine on your own - ask the waiter for his recommendation. One of the MUST - places to go in Gandia.

L’escaleta clearly deserves the 2 stars. I liked how chef Kiko uses local products but goes well beyond the classical Valencian dishes. The chef’s menu ‘ sabor’ , while being the smallest of the two menus offered, will already take you 3 hours to enjoy. Each dish gave me a nice blend of sour, salt and spice - chef Kiko likes to use kimchi, wild mustard and preserved vegetables, fish and meat. The service was very hospitable, and concluded by an invitation by the chef to visit his spotless, well organised kitchen. As the adagio of Michelin says: two stars means worth a detour and I would say, don’t mind if that detour takes you well off your planned road.

A very welcoming restaurant with a variety of food choices to suit most people. The steaks are very good quality and cooked perfectly, the vegetables and side dishes were great too. It’s reasonably priced, especially considering the food quality, and the music, whether live or recorded, is good but not too loud.

Incredible meal, service and atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and elegance of the food. Traditional flavours, beautifully presented. The menu we chose flowed nicely. The staff were friendly and delivered a warm service from start to finish. We will definitely recommend and hope to return when we next get the chance to visit Alzira.

Service from Mara was first class and the food was excellent. We're in the area on holiday and have eaten here three times in the last week. Can't recommend it highly enough.
