Quite the experience!Although our reservation via TheFork wasn't in their ledger, we were ushered into the expansive, opulent dining room without delay, to find just three tables. Niche dining, old style. There was a never-ending supply of home-baked bread, and we were served amuse-bouches quickly, explained in French. Fortunately, the main lady did speak good English (eventually). We chose 'Les Croquis de Blainville' menu at €58 each, selecting differing starters and desserts but concurring on the duck for main. The service throughout was superb, and the presentation of all dishes was exquisite, although with my basic French (my partner speaks not a word), the long-winded descriptions of everything passed us both by. The subtlety of the flavours combined with several aspects we didn't enjoy (I hate aniseed and the like) left us feeling underwhelmed, to be honest. At around €150, including a couple of glasses of wine, the price was incredible for a Michelin-starred establishment. Go!

Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and were delighted with the dishes we tried, especially the sweetbreads plate and Turbot entree.

The restaurant was full not long after we entered. The pan-fried egg pancakes melted in our mouths like air, and the bacon we chose as a side dish was just a foil. But the raw meat we ordered was a little hard to get used to.

All Port Food, their dishes are made with quite fresh ingredients. My husband wanted to eat the big oysters, which looked really good and tasted really juicy and tender. The sea urchin dumplings were also pretty good.

The idea of this restaurant may be, "High-end ingredients often only need the simplest..." In short, it is so simple that you will taste it in your mouth when I talk about it casually. The appetizer is a conch with a biscuit base. The appetizer is sea urchin steamed egg, the advantage is that there is real sea urchin, the disadvantage is that the sea urchin is not good. A fried fat asparagus with egg sauce. A carrot milk soup, carrots are cooked into paste and milk is added. A fried fish, fry the fish. A roast chicken, cook the chicken. Dessert 1: mango ice cream + white chocolate cake, Dessert 2: a spoonful of caramel. (・_・; Is it unpalatable? Not unpalatable. What is it? One Michelin star. Can you taste the chef's ideas or ingenuity? No, he just cooked the dishes. I can do the same. The recipes are all written on the kitchen. I can cook faster than him. If you don't really want to date and chat, you will have a sore waist after sitting in the restaurant for four hours waiting for this little food. If you eat two meals a day, I can feel the feeling of working an eight-hour shift.
