TheForkUserIt was a really lovely evening. The food was great. You feel really comfortable, even though it's a bit smaller. The only thing I have to complain about are the tables. As a tall person, you don't have much room for your legs and it's a bit uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise everything was great and I will definitely come back.

TheForkUserNestled in the heart of the Appenzel mountains, the setting is idyllic. Truube (grape in French) is a soberly decorated, warm and welcoming place, which invites you to taste in peace. You can choose your 4 to 7 dishes (depending on your appetite) from the 2 menus (meat or vegetarian), which is very appreciable. Beautiful local products magnificently cooked and presented. In addition, we were served with great kindness and attention by the head chef, Silvia Manser. The wine list is not to be outdone with a large local or more international choice.
