Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and were delighted with the dishes we tried, especially the sweetbreads plate and Turbot entree.

The food was excellent, with clean and pleasant flavors, and good-sized portions. Everything was super fresh, and all the ingredients were top-notch. The waitstaff were very helpful and well-mannered. Their lemon and passion fruit sorbet could easily belong in a Michelin-starred restaurant. The pear and cider vinegar sauce was strong but paired perfectly with the duck. Be sure to try it with the foie gras as well 😎 .

The restaurant was full not long after we entered. The pan-fried egg pancakes melted in our mouths like air, and the bacon we chose as a side dish was just a foil. But the raw meat we ordered was a little hard to get used to.

We had to amend our booking at very short notice but the host couldn’t have been more accommodating. There were 8 of us and she managed our different requirements easily . I am coeliac and they adapted the menu so I could enjoy a delicious dinner too.

It had been quite a few years since we last dined there and the restaurant had been completely revamped on our return. I think it had lost some of its character with the revamp? Nonetheless, food was very good and service quick and staff were very polite. We'd the set menu and 3 courses for 17 euros each, very good value. Would certainly go back !
