TheForkUserThis is an excellent restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They were very patient with my lack of proficiency with Italian. I really enjoyed the mixed seafood antipasti that included octopus, an oyster, langostos, cozze and a kind of sardine cake. The house wine vino de casa bianco was very different and interesting. I loved it. The traditional Tropean salad with tomatoes and red onions was very good. Paccheri with tuna was delicious. The limoncello they served me at the end of the meal had a very unique flavor that I loved. Highly recommended.

TheForkUserAntipasto Calabrese was both artfully plated and composed of delicious slices of cured meats, an eggplant croquette and sundry other delicacies. The swordfish came with a delicious softly chunky sauce of onions and sweet peppers. The side dish of roasted Tropea onions was a caramelized delight. Everyone else loved their secondi too.

TheForkUserWe had such an amazing time dining here! We were celebrating my birthday, and the restaurant did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the food courses and the wine pairings. The staff treated us like royalty for my birthday. I would definitely dine here again if we are in the Pizzo area. One of my all-time favourite experiences on our three week trip through Italy.

TheForkUserWe have been coming in Soverato for many years and are always trying to find new good restaurants. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food itself was incredible, very high standards and internationally inspired (italian) kitchen with very surprising and tasty flavours. Not the typical dishes you can find everywhere in Calabria but still true to its origin. Also the atmosphere was very nice, well thought interior and the service was excellent. As antipasto I had the tartare di manzo an italian variant on steak tartare, very well balanced and tasteful flavours and nice presentation. Also the main course, the pasta with gamberoni, sundried tomatoe sauce and cream of burrata was outstanding. My dad had the tuna with almond crust with caramelised onions. Before we ordered wine we got a glass of sparkling wine/brut as a welcome drink. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a high quality dinner in an nice ambience just a few steps away from soverato mains street. My compliments to the new owners of this restaurant.
