Once you enter, your mood changes instantly. The restaurant is close to Lake Geneva, so it is great to overlook Lake Geneva. The food inside is also worthy of praise, and the taste is really great.

TheForkUserEven though Montreaux is one of the most expensive cities we have ever visited anywhere in the world, our dinner at Chez John is HANDS DOWN the best dining value anywhere. There are plenty of reasons why the ratings for this restaurant are so consistently high. For us…the two big standouts were the quality of the cuts of beef we ordered, and surprisingly (for us) the bottle of John’s “Red” we consumed with our meal. We stayed at the Fairmont which is known for great service. The food…not so much. We ate at other top rated choices like “Why Montreaux?” And realized the name of the restaurant might be ironic. It’s not that the food there was bad…it just made us miss the food and experience at Chez John a short walk away. We really enjoyed the quality of the food and the gracious attention of our hosts. Don’t skip this one.

TheForkUserI have had Indian Cuisine in many places throughout the world and the quality at Swagt is in Top 3. Outstanding taste the Chicken Korma was cooked to perfection as was the Kamb Masala. Can't wait to return. Mr Rooney .

eastplayChecking into this hotel, naturally breakfast is in the hotel restaurant. There are quite a lot of breakfast options, but it is still inferior to Chinese food, haha. Western breakfast is still mainly cold food, the taste is good, and there are many fruit choices. My wife especially likes the environment of this restaurant, the transparent floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the sun is very good, and it is very beautiful when it shines in. Lake Geneva is across the road, so it is particularly tempting to enjoy it while having breakfast. The service is OK, and the staff is quite fast in serving coffee and tea.

TA用户We went as a family with a baby. There are no high chairs for babies in the restaurant, try to bring one if you can. Also, there is no dressing table in the toilet. The decor is a bit old and kitsch, but this kitsch suits the place. We went on a Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was not cleared. The staff was friendly. We ordered the San Jacques, N°7 and N°8 sushi for 4 people, which was enough. But we also ordered a plate of mixed sashimi for dessert. Overeating.
