The outdoor seating area is close to the San Obispo-Louis Mission Plaza and it's nicely shaded so lunch is a pleasure. The menu is varied with a good selection of small plates and regular entrees. I've eaten there several times with guests and have always found it to be very good.

Great breakfast options that will satisfy the whole family. UC students love having their parents take them here. Don't waste your money on the fancy coffee options - the coffee is no better/worse than the coffee house. The waiting area can be awkward when busy, but manageable. The restaurant offers some of the best baked goods and they bake their own. Scones are a real comfort food. Go, eat, and leave satisfied.
