A beautiful place with beautiful staff, amazing food and first class service. It was my daughter's 40th birthday so we wanted something a little special and oh my, did they deliver. What a perfect evening.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant - such an unusual setting, and so very relaxed. The staff were superb, and the food some of the best we had on our holiday. We highly commend Lo Gorissado for the quality of food, service and ambience.

The prestige menu is perfect in 9 courses, from the appetizers to the desserts, special mention for the brown trout and the supreme of guinea fowl. All the dishes are delicate and tasty. A very good cellar awaits you. Congratulations to the Chef and his entire team in the kitchen and in service.

Last night on the restaurant terrace we enjoyed the most delicious savoury crepes-for supper much welcomed after a long journey to Brive enroute to the Alps. The house speciality is the use of traditional Breton "ble noir" - for the crepe base. This a no gluten alternative flour made from buckwheat. The chicken and mushroom filing Crepe Mere was wonderful as was the "burger" crepe -and lovely desserts chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. Will be our favourite place to eat in Brive. A must for anyone staying in Brive.

The Manoir d’Hautegente is a culinary and family story! An extraordinary place that has belonged to the same family for over 400 years! A young Chef in the kitchen, who offers, among other things, local products prepared with audacity and delicacy! A pastry chef who creates incredible desserts! A mixture of flavors worthy of fireworks for the taste buds 🤩! It was a delicious evening. The service is provided by a young, smiling and professional team, under the expert and caring eye of the owner 👏😉

Warm welcome in a charming hotel-restaurant. Staff was correct and friendly. Restaurant itself was comfortable but not special in decoration or cosyness. The food is absolutely good and delightful but classic. Duo of foie gras de canard, partly in Cahors wine, very nice! Lamb, tournedos Rossini, cheese from the region, an 'honest' kitchen. Wines in every budget. This restaurant fits exactly in the hotel formula and its guests. Good decent food and service for a reasonable price.

Lovely bistro not far from the main centre. Lovely food, nicely presented. Buzzy atmosphere even on a very hot Wednesday lunchtime. Outdoor seating only available at the weekend which seems a shame.

Nice restaurant with good food. We were a bit disappointed concerning the wine list as well as the selection of the accompanying wines - so close to the Cahors appellation, we would have expected a better selection of Cahors wines accompanying our five courses.
