juki235This is a high-end western restaurant in Lisbon. The western food here is exquisitely made and delicious. Each dish is like a fine work of art. Unfortunately, the portion is too small. For us Chinese, it can only be used as a snack. In short, eating here is for enjoyment, but it does not mean you are full.

I decided to learn how to make Portuguese paella [Minions are happy] It tastes much better than the salty and oily Spanish paella. By the way, this restaurant is called As Velhas. It is right next to the airbnb I booked. I wanted to eat there last night, but I didn’t make a reservation and there was no seat, so I went there for lunch today. ​

Joe the world citizenI tried the barnacles for the first time last night 😋 It was a little more work than I expected but the taste was good. Apparently someone said it’s the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon and we had to wait more than an hour to get a table. Although there is nothing special on the menu, the seafood is very fresh, which makes all of the dishes delicious. The famous dessert is steak sandwich but we couldn’t eat anymore 😅

I ordered three kinds of shrimp: red shrimp, Mozambique tiger shrimp, and lobster. Tiger shrimp is still the best. It was the first time in my life to eat barnacles. I was a little scared at first, but I put it in my mouth and sucked it. It was very delicious.

The staff is very attentive and polite! I highly recommend this place and will tell my friends about it! Must visit the bar downstairs - beautiful decor! They also have a JNcQuoi Asia a minute away, and we went in to just see what it looks like and it is so beautiful in there! Can't wait to try that restaurant next time we visit Lisbon.

The restaurant recommended by the Airbnb host, SEA ME, is so fresh and delicious that I can finish half of the fish even though I don’t eat fish in restaurants. The prawn in the middle is full of roe from head to back. I was so satisfied after eating it.
