A great place to go in summer🥰 The flowers are blooming as if you have walked into the world of oil paintings‼ In this historic and beautiful building, it seems to jump out of the oil painting, bringing infinite beauty🎒. The warm summer sun and the blooming flowers in the garden make these castles even more beautiful and charming🥳 💐Destination: Abbotsford The Home of Sir Walter Scott 📍Address: J62C+46 Abbotsford House, Melrose TD6 9BQ, UK 🎫Tickets: Castle and gardens are £13.00 for adults, and half price for visiting the gardens only ✅Tips for playing: 💐Regency Walled Garden This was designed by Sir Walter Scott based on the advice of artists, architects and friends. He provided a harmonious transition between the luxurious interior of the house and the natural wonders in the wider estate through a series of hidden, detailed and concealed spaces. In summer, flowers bloom like an oil painting ☕️Dine at Ochiltree's Café Named after Edie Ochiltree, a character in Scott's novel Antiquity, the café offers afternoon tea with stunning views of the walled garden and historic buildings. 🧙🏻♀️Join activities at Witch Corner Witch Corner is a folklore-themed sculpture trail that explores the wildwood gorge filled with Sir Scott's favorite stories and their playful creatures, with twelve stations. Went to The Treehouse Restaurant at the Alnwick Garden for a friend's birthday. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was great and the mocktails were great! Very romantic atmosphere, worth a visit

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Black Swan. We shared calamari and halloumi starters, along with a delicious soup which came with two huge pieces of crusty bread. It was 2-4-1 on pizzas and they were absolutely delicious with a range of original toppings. My son had the steak and ale pie and it was absolutely packed with steak. My daughter went for the Cajun chicken burger and really enjoyed it. We were too full to manage a dessert but the children both went for cheesecake - it was Biscoff and they loved it! We will definitely be back next time we’re in Alnwick.
