TheForkUserService was excellent but the food was not as fresh as it should have been. There was a lot of choice on the menu but very diverse choices. Maybe trying to cater for everyone but didn’t work for us. A nice location.

TheForkUserPleasant lunch in what must have been a leading city centre hotel. Service was excellent in a rear garden with attractive wisteria canopy. Food choice maybe rather simple and limited for lunch but okay on a sunny day. Hopefully a more sophisticated menu for evening meals. We have often stopped here for s coffee whilst visiting and it's a lovely decor to appreciate.

TheForkUserWe went to La Citadelle as it was recommended by a friend and what a good recommendation it was. It is in a beautiful position on the bank of the river. The food was excellent, the presentation was tempting and appetizing and got the taste buds working. The flavour was as good as the visual. Would we recommend this restaurant of course we would and look forward to being able to go again.

TheForkUserFantastic food and lovely ambiance sat on the terrace looking over to the River view. Amazing service considering one lady was doing all front of house and one back of house, you guys are superb and very hard working!

TheForkUserVery reasonably priced. Cheaper and far better quality than the standard tourist spots. Good choices and well balanced. Healthy. Tasty. Well presented. The set menu is very good value for three courses. We were very pleased with our choices of food and restaurant. It was well worth checking this site. It paid off.

The food is inventive without being over-complicated, the welcome is warm and the service impeccable, by this classic husband and wife team (he does the cooking, she runs the front of house. Go and enjoy!

李聰When I arrived in the Pauillac region, I was attracted by the restaurant next to the LYNCH-BAGEC winery. The pan-fried lamb legs here were filled with just the right amount of heat when they were served. They were fragrant on the outside and tender on the inside, with full gravy, and the side dishes were appropriate, with good color, aroma and taste. I was deeply impressed by both the environment and the service here. I believe the owner is an old Keller with great taste. Why is this restaurant not Michelin? I am a little puzzled. Foodies remember this restaurant and see if my recommendation is Keller!
